  1. It is skewed because of Utd, however, Spurs have still got City and Arsenal at home though which imo they are more than capable of turning over or picking up points. I've already said I think 12 points will be enough to see us over the line and I think 5th place will be enough too. England are also top of the coefficient league
  2. You're stealing my moment Bicks... just pack it in. Funny, I did think the explosion was pretty crap for a refinery
  3. Their intensity in the way they play could be the deciding factor here. I said earlier in the season, that them and Newcastle had similar issues. They look creamed.
  4. I said 15 points before Wolves. 12 more points will do it imo leaving Spurs needing a minimum of 14 points to overtake us with 8 to go. 3 home wins and an away win and we're home and dry. Anything more is a bonus.
  5. Talos(aka Harry Kane) from Jason and the Argonauts. Talos obvs has more muscles but they move very similar.
  6. It's horrendous. Is it made out of chocolate? Looks like that mythological creature from Sinbad or was it Jason and the Argonauts?
  7. Everyone w***s over Kane but he's the ultimate guarantee of winning sweet FA. The sooner him and Safegate are gone the sooner England win a trophy.
  8. He ain't coming back lol... He's still got what 3 years left on his current deal, earning 300k a week. We ain't paying the fee or the wages City and him would want. It's a shame for us he went when he did, but it was what he wanted. He didn't want to be here, he wanted guaranteed trophies now, not tomorrow. He's moved on, we've moved on..... and definitely for the better now, although it's taken time to see it.
  9. If he's got Bailey, Diaby and Zaniolo potentially running off him on the counter throughout the match. Just being a pest maybe the perfect foil for the others. Either way City are going to come at us tomorrow, after all we are the only side to comprehensively turn them over this season and they'll want to remedy that. If we are clever, and it's a big IF, that could work in our favour. I thought he looked great 2nd half against the dingles. He's more of a battering ram than Ollie imo so with runners could cause mayhem if he and we are on it.
  10. I wouldn't be shocked to se him and Digne start tomorrow on the left after Wolves on Saturday. Both very disciplined and gave us more strength down the left side. Unai was very complimentary of him.... I think if he has a good run in with us and we get CL, he'll stay. I'd like that outcome.
  11. Good God, that badge looks atrocious
  12. Surely any option to buy was on the basis we would be willing to trigger the clause and he was willing to stay in the UK longer than 12 months. If he initially had no intention of staying longer than the loan period and then go back to Italy surely his agent and Gala would not have agreed to have the clause put in the contract? He's more than likely going to return to Italy but I don't think from Zaniolo's point of view that would have been the case when he agreed to come here. He must of had intentions of being here long term initially to have agreed the loan under the conditions Gala set out with us possibly purchasing him at the end of the season. As for his kid, from what I gather he's estranged from the Mother so access to his child may be also be an issue, or less frequent than having normal access. It's also only a couple of hours to Italy so being away from his child might not be a sticking point in him staying if he does have regular access. Plus his child is 3 years old now so it didn't stop him going to Turkey and then coming to the UK. Obviously things change though. I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully he finishes the season well, helps us get into the CL and an agreement concludes that's best for all parties and everyone is happy.
  13. Yeah, you probably right. I'm 50 myself as is Milo's bro who was at Ladywood the same time, same age. We were only nippers when there. I went in at 10yrs old although couldn't register until 11-12 iirc although I had a few exhibitions before turning amateur. I then moved clubs at 13 and half. I must have crossed paths with him though at some point though. It's a long long time ago now but I'm sure I remember Mac. The problem was everyone had nicknames at the time lol. I think I've still got my first pair of shorts from Ladywood somewhere in my loft with a few trophies.
  14. Had his first pro fight in 93 looking at Box Rec so he may well have been around the amateurs when I was. finished with a 6-34-1 record. The name does sound familiar though. He went in against a few faces like Caldwell, Oliver, J Booth, Pithie etc. All after Lloyd. I can't remember him being at Ladywood when I was there though so wonder if it was after rather than before? BoxRec: Marty Chestnut
  15. The name sounds familiar... when was he at Ladywood Sheepy? I was there from 83 - 86 before moving to SW Brum and Rubery ABC
  16. Yeah, the arse end of nothing. Talked about Clarke as if his amateur experience made him less experienced then proceeded to roll out his own bollocks about himself having little amateur experience and it that it didn't matter. He just talks absolute shit. Can't stand the bloke.
  17. I think Clarke edged it personally. He done the cleaner work throughout the fight.
  18. Well matched tbh.. I think Clarke but that point deduction might make all the difference.
  19. Not for a broken nose. It's not obscuring his vision or anything
  20. Wardley's gassed struggling to breath through the nose. I think Clarke's got this tbh if he stays composed.
