  1. Jimmy has scored better goals than that this season. In a much better league.
  2. Did we not do the same with Carson??? Decent signing if you ask me. Had some bad form but will be a good goalkeeper
  3. James Milner keeps referring to the growth of Villa and what we will look to improve next year. Surely an indication hes staying
  4. hes a squad player at fulham and was well out of his depth last night
  5. Not for me thanks, hard workers alone won't improve us. I think Kevin Davies would be a good signing for us, a proper presence and would score more than Heskey which aint too difficult. He always seems a handful when he plays against us so why not give him a bash playing with better players getting better service. Im going to wake up in a minute.
  6. You have just answered why it cant happen when you explain where the queue went. Im pretty confident you had a little help mate
  7. Your not joking are you? Youve asked the general if its possible to organise it? Maybe we could queue up for rides in Milners' car too
  8. Your joking right? 42,000 fans forming an orderly queue? Even if 1000 stayed, it would be total chaos
  9. General, If you had to pick 3 Villa players to join you in a pub quiz team, who would you pick and why?
  10. That would be Sir Charles to you :winkold: Hoping Los Suns can go 3-0 up tonight on my least favourite team, the dull Spurs, as that should be enough to set up a Western Conference final against, probably, the Lakers. Vaya Los Suns! yeah he wernt bad was he?
  11. How many points did charles Barkley get last night then?
  12. How does it work now then (totally not my scene)? Does he remain 'in charge of the hung parliament' even though they didnt get as many seats as conservative? - On the basis of he wasnt voted out?
  13. That idiot on ITV. Peter Drury
  14. Did anyone else hear the commentry from the Barcelona game the other week. Barcelona really are a unique side. there the only team I know that would even cosider having a charity as their sponsor
  15. Out of interest is it a passion or just to make German football a little more exciting? Very good question. It starts off as simply making German (or [ insert league here ] ) football more interesting. But as usually happens, as you follow their results you find yourself more and more interested and before you know it you are supporting them and giving out about rivals and actually caring about the ups and downs I probably started following them around the time of Sensible World Of Soccer (or SWOS) on the Amiga when I decided it would be nice to try and have a 'representative' in all the major leagues. It didn't turn out like that though. I only really 'follow' a few teams around Europe - and the fact it's only a few actually makes those few more special. Thats quite interesting actually. Used to follow Italian football, and was always changing teams who I liked. Went Roma juventus Milan Inter (who i hated b4 Ronaldo signed) - got a top and stuff but never gave a shit if they lost, just liked it if they won, which is a bit weird now I think about it. I suppose it depends on how long you follow it for and how much contact you have with it - back then I only had Gazzetta. But i just cant imagine myself ever taking another team serious enough to give 2 shits about anything. Spose its a good thing if you get a few teams on the go, because therd be games nearly everyday to look forward to - specially with streams nowadays. Just another thought..... I watched a few german Highlights programme last season on setanta. A team called Hoffeinham (I think, correct me if im wrong) that play in blue were top and scoring goals for fun. What happened to them? Also, every game seemed to be about 4-2 or something ridiculous. Is it quite high scoring?

  17. take the first four words out of that and it describes my current concerns! such a massive game, i'm at a music festival in leeds today (almost all the venues in the city have bands on all day) but i'm gonna take a couple of hours out at 3 to watch this on a stream, can't miss it. such a massive game. my bro's going ther i think, hes missing it all tho
  18. Next time you feel like given a tenner away - My bank details are............ Hope ur right tho
  19. Why? Not disagreeing, Im just not aware of too many disruptions! And you could argue that transfers between teams in the same division should be stopped. Its simple Does Joe Harts loan agreement allow him to re - join Manchester City under such circumstances? If Yes: Then fine If no: Then no The FA need to grow a pair of balls and practice the rules they set out, whichever team is involved. Because loaned players can't play against their owning clubs which means that the rich clubs by definition have an advantage as they can loan players to smaller clubs who can play against the rivals of the big clubs but not against their owning club. For instance Man City to own and loan 4 keepers to smaller Premier League clubs which means that for 8 games a season they would be playing sides forced to field reserve keepers. You might counter and say it unlikely and granted it is but Man Utd had two out on loan at one time I believe. I'm not sure why you say transfers between sides in the same league is the same thing as it clearly isn't. I see what your saying and maybe there should be a limit to the number of loans you are allowed in the same division. And perhaps even a limit to the terms of each loan agreement (which im sure there is anyway). But there is some good to come out of it. Joe Hart will be very unlucky not to make the WC squad as a result of his loan. Something that wouldnt have been possible if he had stayed at City or been loaned to another division.
