  1. looking like a 0-0, been our only hope of any points recently
  2. I think a big plus for the UK is the weather/climate actually, it neither gets too hot nor too cold. As soon as there's been sustained spells above 35 Celsius abroad I've thought I can't function properly, short walks in town become a greasy sweaty mess so I opt to waste the day in an air conditioned room until the late evening. I think the UK temperatures are fine for myself personally and I like to see changeable conditions, rain, lightning, snow, hail and the sunny days is all character.
  3. We should get an idea on Lamberts tactical ability in this game, it will most likely be a similiar team to the one which performed so poorly against West Ham (minus Weimann). If the team don't perform better I'll have more or less given up hope. I am looking forward to it like I always do, I just know that my hope could be a lost cause.
  4. Do whitening toothpastes actually work or do they just stop your teeth from getting yellower
  5. When you've had a few drinks and getting over a bad break-up I like to listen to some of John Barry's works (particularly the indecent proposal tracks) to induce some tear flow, don't know why I do it to myself. Been a long time since I've been emotional enough to get in one of those funny moods though, at the minute I feel as cold as ice
  6. A good way to decimate the population of insects, mammals, farmland birds and their predators I suppose, aswell as making the country look incredibly ugly
  7. Just this second put my 2007 Robyn album on, quite distinctive mix of tunes
  8. Nadal pulling his boxers out of his arse crack every few minutes, must be a few sizes too small
  9. Wherever I have lived people have said that I look like someone that they know, I got into a taxi late at night once and the driver thought he knew where to take me as he thought I was one of his regulars. Apart from that Ewan Mcgregor a while back and a pissed up girl in Leeds thought that I looked like Tom Cruise in the street and started shouting it at me.
  10. Think she's been logging onto your Villatalk account when you're at work. I'm single at the minute but have ex's in my wank bank, I think absence makes the heart grow fonder for sure and they always score higher in my mind than maybe they did at the time
  11. My birthplace Boston is just about to come onto Question time, should be interesting Edit: Unfortunately the politicians are already talking absolute b*ll*cks
  12. Not a fan of Ferne Cotton or her clone Holly Willoughby, two examples of people who are on telly because they look half decent and have no doubt jumped through a lot of hoops to make up for their lack of personality and talent, they bore me to death and don't add to anything they are involved with. Mate you couldn't find two women further apart! I see them as the same pretty much, I have the same opinion of them both, however I suppose I always switch the side before I can get a full impression so that may be a bit unfair of me

  14. Is Mark Zuckerberg with his missus in an attempt to be allowed into the Chinese market, she aint a looker
  15. Is it illegal to photograph the insides of Greek synagogues (I think it was), I took this following photo and a few people looked like they were going to come and confiscate my camera and started to grumble in greek which I don't understand so I quickly left. On the outside it was constructed with small red bricks, on the inside it was so immaculate and impressive with lots of decorative antiquities and artistry. Light levels of the photo aren't the best but you can make out most of the details but it doesn't do it the justice it deserves.
  16. There would need to be a serious rise in temperatures for all ice to melt, during the daytime at the Antarctic pole during their summer (our winter) temperatures are -35 Celsius. Otherwise Lincolnshire would cease to exist, I wouldn't be happy if that was the case. Just think of all the fertile soil that would be lost if all the low lying nutrient rich soils around the world was lost to the seas, there would be a major food shortage crisis Edit: Amazed at how much of South Western Russia, China and Antarctic would be lost
  17. Another news headline that has irritated me again on the BBC, 'Concentrations of warming gases break record'. They could run this headline everyday since it's on an upward slope or are they too stupid to realise this. Another one to add to to the huge list was just the other day, title was 'UK fastest growing western economy', when you read the article the quote from the story was 'one of the fastest growing western economies'. Slight exageration in the interpretation, I just wish I could believe a word that is written but I can't as there are so many inconsistencies in papers, don't they have people who proof read articles
  18. I personally know a lot of people who go around like they are clinically depressed who love to smoke marajuana claiming it makes them feel good, they could have fooled me. I used to smoke it when I was in my late teens but can't really say that I enjoyed it, I've always thought stimulants/up lifters are much more acceptable as a drug to be legalised although people who go from using it a recreational clubbing drug to something they depend on also has a negative psychological affect on the user. It's a hard one to call whether drugs should be legalised, I personally think people shouldn't necassarily be criminalised but just fined if they are causing social issues. I don't think there's any drugs that are as damaging as alcohol and that is legal, I think problem drug addicts should be treated the same as problem drinkers as they are more or less the same problem.
  19. Well the bitstrip phenomenon died off from my newsfeed after only being there for a few days, the shortest lived craze I have ever seen.
  20. I'm the same, don't like the e-ticket system at all. It's not just flights, it's for hotel reservations too. I booked a room at this place in Veliko Tarnovo and when we got there it was an apartment block, we really thought we had been conned but after a few hours of asking locals we found out that the owner of the apartments was a bloke who owned the local hotel so we managed to get the apartment keys from there, if we had paperwork with all the information on we'd have fealt far more confident that we wasn't going to possibly be scammed.
  21. In Lincolnshire they just stick to the staples, certainly not kidney's and black puddings are pretty rare there, not many have fried bread either
  22. It's definitely the parents fault for allowing her child to not be closely supervised near the dog. I have seen on so many occasions children ripping at animals fur and generally being cruel to pets as I'm not sure at that age they distinguish between a living creature and a toy, any dog can snap if it gets mistreated so any adult have to be very vigilant when children are with animals, firstly to teach the child that it is an animal and not a toy, and secondly to prevent a tragedy from unfolding.
