I have my first running for 20mins without walking at all tomorrow in my couch to 5km training, not sure I am going to be able to complete it, the last session was running for 8 minutes seems like a big jump from 2 x8 minutes to a full 20mins!!

My running is going okay, really enjoying doing the couch to 5Km training on ipod as it really helps to motivate me to go further. No where near as good as anyone on here but so far I'm on week 5 and running for a constant of 5 minutes with 1 minute walk 3 times and feeling much better for it. Fingers crossed I will be able to run the 5km race I'm doing in June none stop! I am enjoying it though which has to be a bonus!

Time for me to join this conversation, started going running again after abandoning it last summer. Need motivation so have signed up for a 5k June hopefully giving me plenty of time between now and then to be able to run that far. I'm using the couch to 5k app and so far so good and I am starting to enjoy it! Any tips much appreciated.

It's snowing here and freezing cold, got warmer as it was only -2 when I left work around 6pm but now gone back down to -8!

We kind of had one last weekend, our sales team won a competition and a kitty of money to do what we like so we went to Villa Park meal event thing will free drinks all night was a brilliant night everyone enjoyed themselves and no-one remembers what happened! Our other one is a family fun day at work next week, with santa and kids events not very interesting!

A few mates at work were telling me what had happened, my mate was just getting food behind the shutter and when the blues fans got through one spat in his eye which I find disgusting. Also everyone I know that went said the policing was awful. I think its bad on both parts, ruins the game.

Bashed into the curb in my car yesterday and today there is definitely something wrong with it, pulling to one side. Really hope its nothing major at all massive downer

Yeah it has it took my dad 1.5 hrs to get from Aston area to Great Barr usually 20mins in normal evening rush hour and a mate also took similar time from similar place and then went to Milton Keynes this evening and got there quicker than he got home. Everywhere is pure ice, so many people skidding and not stopping when coming down hills!

Yep I live around there and from around 4pm there were queues of traffic to get up the hill on Beacon Rd till around 8pm when it had mostly cleared, total mayhem!

The roads are really starting to ice over now, went out for a few mins and skidded more times than I would like to and it was really horrible! Going to be hell in the morning, where are the gritters?!

Me and my boyfriend went to the same uni (not as a couple but we went to school together) got together at uni, lived together through uni and are still together now after finishing uni. We hardly ever argued and I loved having a boyfriend at uni!

I'm gutted but I knew Stoke were going to just keep pressurising us right till the end. Anyone could see the players were tiring, Albrighton ran his socks off and looked knackered so why not take him off and bring Ireland on? It was the substitutions that let us down, I don't blame Mcdonald as I think he is naive in knowing how to best close out a game, even MON didn't know how to close out a game. And why bring Heskey on when we are looking for a winner I have no idea!

Do you think it being a monday night has anything to do with it? I usually would be going but can't finish work early and wouldn't get there on time if I left when I finished work!

Vegas is wicked, but is quite expensive with flights and hotels and casinos! Tenerife is pretty good as there are still lots of bars, clubs etc.. but much more to do.

The parking's not too bad, right next to the ground there are quite a few large car parks which we usually park in, or like wedge said there are a lot of residential areas not too far away!
