  6. I keep in touch will a small group of people from secondary school but hardly any from uni, don't worry that your mates will leave and make new friends they will but when they return it's people they spent all of secondary school with that become bestest friends.
  7. That's the tough part deciding what to do after! I graduated last year, finally have a job now, not a fat lot to do with my degree but it's a hard decision to be penniless and look for the dream job or take a decent enough job.
  8. Someone on my facebook did that it's very annoying.
  9. Me at top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.
  10. I've started having a go at running, got myself a decent pair of trainers and like Laura started slowly running and walking. Last couple of times I've been able to run at a decent pace for about half a mile and I am slowly noticing I am able to run for longer without getting too out of breathe etc.. I'm sure there are hundreds of tips on here already anyone got any particular advice for me? I am actually really enjoying the running now which I guess is one of the most important things, hoping to get fit from it too.
  11. Well I went in to the bathroom, slipped on floor and it fell out of my hand!
  12. I dropped my pretty new blackberry down the toilet the other day, gutted! Thank god for phone insurance!
  13. Hope JVofH is okay, not nice to see anyone injured.
  14. Nay I wouldn't like it! Then again my other half works in same company as me!
  15. Milner's frustration when the referee blew in the 95th minute (4 minutes too early) didn't smack of lacklustre, in fact the opposite. The tiredness bit is also an excuse that is trotted out by many, and one that I don't buy. The team went out tonight and had a right go against a very well organised side. Despite the fact that the referee was doing everything to screw them up, and one or two murmurings of discontent in the crowd (after Everton's second) they kept at it and got the minimum that they deserved. I thought that they were great and served us up an excellent game, one of the best at VP this season. I'm not saying tiredness is an excuse, just observation that they looked tired as you would be when you are trying to win the game back and push forward. I agree it was a really entertaining game.
  16. I agree with the Petrov comments he holds up the ball so well and you know when he gets the ball it will make it to a villa player and I thought tonight he made some very intelligent moves and passes. I also thought Cuellar had a good game, so he's not a natural right back we know his crosses aren't brilliant but I do really like this guy and he is becoming a lot more competent at right back. On the game itself, we were lacklustre everyone looks like they could do with a good rest. We were over ran by their 5 in midfield and they looked like they had more energy, glad we got a point though.
  17. Only commenting this morning after breaking down on the M1 on the way home last night, shit end to the day!! All I want to say is I am proud to be a villa fan, 2 trips to Wembley this season and we may have lost both but the support was amazing, as someone said before I have never experienced anything like it before and it makes me proud to be a villa fan when everyone says how good and loud our support was. Thought the first half of the game was good, thought we could have pushed on and grabbed the lead, but Chelsea are world class and they know how to capitalise on other teams shortfalls and that's why they are challenging for the title. Who knows what would have happened if refereeing decisions had gone our way but we can't dwell on that and I am happy with two trips to Wembley this season the warm up for the win next season!
  18. I won an ipod at work today so I am well happy!
  19. Not long got back so will do my ratings, overall glad we got the win and a good day out! Bolton fans are poor though don't remember one song at all!! Friedel- 7, Had a couple of saves to make, punches from corners did fine. Cuellar- 7, Did okay, a few good passes and a few that went astray but overall okay. Dunne- 7, Another solid game. Collins- 8 Same as Dunne kept a clean sheet, better rating as won everything in the air Warnock- 7 Solid performance, made some good overlaps. Downing- 6 Did okay, seems a little lightweight at times expect him to have more of a stronger shot. Delph- 7 Solid performance, looks up and makes some good passes and finds holes other players don't, conservative performance not much of the solid tackling we usually see. Petrov- 9 MOTM for me, thought he won everything in midfield and made some very good passes and runs right till the end. Young- 8 Very good goal can't wait to see it again, much improved lately just frustrating sometimes when he just floats in corners and free kicks straight to the keeper. Carew- 6 Didn't think he did much, held up the ball okay don't remember anything notable. Agbonglahor- 7 Thought he looked very lively, his pace was threatening to their defence. Horrible boots though!
  20. I really have no words, this is not good for the team. MON takes everything to heart and I find it hard to see us recovering from this loss now, a win next week would help lift us before the cup final but it is not looking hopeful.
  21. Hmmm not hoping for too much, really hope we can pick up a point from this game! I'm going for a 1-1 draw.
  22. Disappointing again, but had a few chances to win it. Thought Warnock had a better game than the Wolves game where he was anonymous. Dunne looked very tired and Milner and MON said after the game they are both carrying injuries so why he never rested Dunne and played L.Young with Cuellar and Collins in the centre is a mystery. I thought the Fonz did okay but nothing spectacular was hoping for him to show some real class which he didn't do, I think he isn't quite ready for the premiership but agree he should be coming on as a sub to add some energy. Petrov also tired towards the end but again has niggling injury concerns. Our players look tired and the season seems to be fading away with them, I don't think we will finish 4th but I didn't think we would anyway.
  23. Got my tickets for this today, anyone know good places to park? Or pubs?
  24. Should be able to listen back on the bbc iplayer soon!
