Not long got back, my god it was very cold and windy. As for the game was pretty boring, but would have taken a point before the game. We didn't really create anything and neither did Stoke, was calling out for Gabby to be playing as Stoke's back line was pretty slow, maybe he was still recovering from illness or whatever, but playing Carew and Heskey doesn't work, they are both as bad as each other. Good defending again, kept the Delap throw ins very quiet, MOTM Collins. Most entertaining bit of the day was the song after they made an announcement about someone's wife giving birth, 'It's not yours my lord' and 'It's John Terrys'!

I'm going to be driving to this game, used to live in Stoke so got a good idea of where I can park! Was quite intimidating last season going back to the car in Villa shirt when they scored in last few minutes! Also I was the on the end of the row where we were separated from the Stoke fans, kept trying to throw things at us I wasn't best happy!

It was a brilliant day Joe, the villa fans were awesome and the atmosphere was good, I hope it sounded as good on TV as all we could hear were villa fans. I know we lost and I am gutted but it was a really good day!

Not long got back, Wembley is a brilliant place. I thought we played well at times, but I think we lacked creativity which Man U have more of. Gutted for everyone especially the players because as much as some of you think I think it means a lot for everyone. Thought the villa fans were brilliant, just hope that we came across on TV as loud as we were. Milner or Petrov MOTM for me showed great energy so did Agbonglahor. Hope this gives us something to push on with the FA cup and in the league!

Poor first half, much better second half. Glad to see Downing getting a couple, you could see him wanting his hat-trick! My MOTM is Downing!

Must be bad for Heskey to score but whooooppp!!!

Defence had a good game as per usual. Midfield looked lacking in places, thought Delph was playing very well and would have liked to see him on the pitch longer, we looked lacking when he went off and same with Petrov the work hard in the middle. Sidwell is woeful, did he make a pass to a villa player when he was on the pitch? Carew is so lacklustre its unbelievable he came on and hardly touched the ball, when Friedel took a goal kick towards Carew he didn't even jump or attempt to win the ball. Overall as everyone has said happy with the point just thought we could have made more on the night.

I thought overall the performance was good, just lacked that goal. I thought Agbonglahor held up the ball well, I think he has a lot more vision and is vastly improved on the last couple of seasons. Same with Heskey, thought he had a good game just lacking that goal scoring quality. I did think Downing had a poor game but I still think he worked hard and as someone said he missed the overlap that Warnock would usually give him where as L.Young didn't and when he swapped on to the right hand side Cuellar doesn't give much overlap play either. The Ref was rubbish and so was the linesman.

I would also like to know, I know I probably haven't got a chance but would like to know what the booking history will be so I can make other plans if I am unlikely to get a ticket. Thanks.

Just got back, I feel mentally drained and thought I was going to have a heart attack but all I can say is we're going to Wembley! I think I love James Milner he is brilliant, can't be bothered with ratings but reaction is Amazing! Game none of us will forget in a hurry!

We need to score an early goal just to take off the pressure as Blackburn will have to come out then! Only thing I'm worried about now is more snow is predicted for Tuesday in to Wednesday and heavy at that, this game must go ahead!

Really, again i thought he threaded up a lot of our better play, granted he can't do 90 mins these days but did his replacement/everybodies hero Big John offer anything more? No he offered **** all but still gets wan*ed over Definitely agree with that. When Carew came on I gave a sigh cos I knew that big lump offers no more than Heskey does, and our style of play wouldn't improve one bit. In fact, he looks half the player Heskey does at the moment. Blimey one person that agrees with me, well not me but that Heskey offers something.....35,621 to go now! Don't get me wrong though, I think they probably both need replacing! That said, some of Heskey's link-up play lately has been top notch. It's just a shame he doesn't score. But then neither does anyone else. I also agree, Heskey's link up play and playing of late has been good he looks interested in the game which sometimes Carew doesn't! However neither of them look like scoring!

Hmmm slight overreaction by some and good points by others! I was disappointed not to win this game but I'm not going to start slagging everyone and everything off as if we have lost 5-0. My MOTM was Downing, played some very good cross field balls to Young, picked up the loose ball and was all over the pitch. Milner had a bit of an off game, when he's having a good game he is unplayable today he looked tired. I did hope to see Delph or Delfonseo on after 75mins we needed something else adding to the team and these 2 may have been able to add something! Finally just to say to the guy sitting behind me in Lower Holte L7 row L you were a complete and utter word removed! Booing at half time wasn't necessary and your opinions were so stupid, bet it was your 1st game ever at VP, I hate people like that!

2 penalty decisions given wrongly, hope this doesn't go against us in the second half in any way!

All over 3-1, sounds like we had the run of the game and a win will do us good. Although I do think it is going to be a very different kettle of fish on Tuesday and I know MON will know that.

Think the team is a good mix to be honest, hopefully we can win! Gabby is apparently just being rested, Milner has a bruised foot.

It was a freezing horrible night. I thought we lacked creativity and in a way I thought we missed A.Young as I think we look a better team with Milner in the middle. Carew looked very lacklustre again today and majority of the time was defending not attacking and if we ever broke he wasn't up with the play. I will do some ratings: Friedel- 7 didn't have a lot to do. Young- 7 Solid at the back again. Dunne- 8 Controls the backline. Warnock- 7 Had a good game apart from the incident. Milner- 7 Worked hard as usually does. Petrov- 6 Went missing for large amounts of the game. NRC- 6 Put in a few good tackles but went missing also. Downing- 7 Should have scored. Agbonglahor- 7 I thought he worked hard, holding up the ball and looking up to find passes etc.. Carew- 6 Didn't do much, did more defending than attacking. Sidwell- 5 Didn't see him do much. Albrighton- 5 Again didn't have time to make an impact. EDIT- Forgot Cuellar in all the excitment- 7 Thought he made some crucial challenges.

On the Liverpool forums they seem to think they are going to batter us and that they are going to win by 4 or 5. I hope we beat them just to shut up those fans.

I really hope it doesn't snow as much as they predict as I'm really looking forward to this game. As for the team I think NRC or Sidwell will replace Young, with Milner on the right, Downing on Left and Petrov and one of them two in the middle.

Thought Arsenal outplayed us as they do so often, we created no chances. Hopefully this can be a good point and we improve from it. Personally I thought Heskey was playing well for us defending and holding up the ball. I thought Downing had an off game a long with Milner at times. Don't know why he took off L.Young.

The ref looks more tired than anyone right now.
