I'm dead upset L.Young isn't playing he is much better than Beye and think he will find it hard to get in the team without another chance like today. Hmmm not the line up I would have gone for but then again I knew my line up would never be played. I like the fact we have 3 strikers on the pitch hopefully to give us some goals!

I think this will be a tough game and I think West Ham might just nick a win. I hope Luke young plays as I love him and think he deserves a chance to get back into the team after his brilliant season last season. I'm not going to try and predict the team because it will almost certainly be very wrong, but would love to see Delph get a game.

I like this thread, wish I could get on to it at work! I'm with you Laura I work with pretty much all men, seemed good to get away from women and talk about football all the time, but then again men can be very messy and annoying!

I set my alarm for 7am and usually get out of bed around 7.15 and go to bed around 11pm. Some mornings I feel as if I've never had enough sleep and won't drag myself out of bed till 7:45. If you don't actually need to get out of bed till around 6am then I would have the extra sleep from 5.20 till about 5:45, then get out of bed around 6! Each person needs an average amount of sleep a week, so you are better off having 6 hours of sleep a night every night, than 1 day of 8 hours then another day of 4 hours sleep.

Today has been shite to be honest, been to a funeral. Missed work which means tomorrow when I go in it will be hell with start of the month etc.... Then I start jury service next week which means I will need to get a lot done this week!

I thought Milner, Gabby, Warnock and Collins had good games. Sidwell was dire, not because of the penalty because of him giving the ball away on numerous occasions near our box. Carew was woeful and this really disappoints me it's a good job that Gabby is doing what's asked of him. We always knew that the game was going to be a scrappy not nice affair and I don't think our lads expect that, they prefer playing against the bigger teams where it may be easier for us to break down play. As people have said before it as if they only want to turn up for the big games but they really need to be turning up for every game.

Poor first half, we need to be stronger through the middle of the park, Sidwell just isn't contributing enough. Think we could do with L.Young on to give us more width at the back of the park, Cuellar's doing well but he isn't the best fullback and maybe Luke would give us more options going forward down the wings.

I do really like the nice 'cool' seats think they look really good, but not for Villa Park shows some tradition and I agree with everyone saying people should not be having a nice comfy relax on the bench.

Villa4europe- I walked around Vegas with my Villa shirt on in August, got a few funny looks and someone asked what team it was!! Also I came back with a really bad cold, must be the air or the people!

Just got back from the game, really enjoyed it tonight. Friedel- 7- Tipped one good effort over the bar, but had not much else to do. Cuellar- 7- I was very nervous seeing Cuellar having to mark Bellamy but I think he did a good job, just has poor distribution, however I did see him run down the right and he put in a nice cross. Dunne- 8- MOTM just a rock for us. Collins-8- Again brilliant for us, good looking defence. Warnock 8- Had a good game, probably his best so far, he kept Wright-Phillips very quiet. Young- 6- He had an okay game, nothing special just doesn't seem to be how he used to be. Sidwell- 7- Thought he was alright, added something more to midfield and made a few good tackles and picked up a few loose balls. Petrov- 8- Thought he had a very good game today same as Sidwell really, picking up loose balls and some good distribution. Milner-7- Works hard every game, he must run miles round the pitch. Agbonglahor-8- Again worked hard, seems very up for it and willing to play not lazy. Carew-6- Looked Lazy, in first 5 mins thought he looked really up for it then it just went downhill, a few good touches but always seemed to be in the wrong place. Heskey- No idea what to say, looked composed and willing but didn't offer anything. Overall I am happy with a point, before the game I thought we were in for a thrashing! Good game and good Advert for premiership football!

Poor result, Carew looks lazy to me for some of the game he goes missing. But when he brought on Heskey for Delph that was the end of the game for me.

I'm just glad I made Torres captain in my fantasy football team!!

Ill give my ratings as no-one else has, Guzan- 7 Didn't really have much to do made a few decent saves. Beye- 7 I don't think this guy knows he's a RB he gets sucked into CB role so easily, however had to hold up the whole of the right wing and made some decent runs forward. Collins-7 Did good, usual solid at back always looks for a clearance to go to a player not just a hoof. Cuellar- 8 I thought he had a good game but in some decent tackles and critical times. Shorey-7 Did okay going forward but still shakey at the back. Gardner 5- He did pretty poor I'm not sure if he started off playing RM but he was never over there the game seriously lacked a winger and Milner was playing both wings. Petrov-6 Did the usual, broke up play sometimes, won a penalty similar to weekend. Delph-7 He's not afraid to put his foot in and make an important tackle, seems very confident on the ball. Milner-8 Works very hard as usual especially playing on both left and right wing, shame he missed penalty. Carew-6 Didn't do a lot, looked really like he couldn't be bothered at times. Agbonglahor- 7 Did well for his goal and is on form. I was disappointed with the low attendance, it was cheap tickets not on tele or anything but still not many turned up.

Freud stuff is crap, other psychology isn't! Sports psychology is very interesting, as I like occupational psychology which a lot can be applied to sports as well!

Mine is turquoise it's not on the list though!

I did a whole degree in Psychology! It can be used to explain everything the mind does. I'm not so sure about the work clothes thing though, but I guess if you are seeing the clothes you wear to work every time you try and relax then it will stop you relaxing.

Raver- Not to answer on behalf of the general but I think paper tickets are issued for this game because of the number of fans that are having to move, people in upper north stand are being moved to accommodate the away fans so obviously they cannot use their season cards to get in in a different part of the ground, and I presume to save confusion they issue everyone with a paper ticket. I'm sure the general will advise you to speak to Nikki Keye who may be able to help you out.

I posted on the ratings and reactions from yesterdays game that I hope we see him back maybe on Wednesday but someone said it is his brothers funeral that day so he won't be playing.
