    We are safe now I'd say, QPR won't finish above us, not a cats chance in hell they'll get something at Man City. Saying that, we gotta hope City beat United and Newcastle so that they have major incentive to win that game. I hope Stoke manage to pull of a win at QPR so we don't have to worry against Norwich on the final day of the season.

    Are you Randy Lerner? Experience at the top level doesn't mean they'd be good for our club. You gotta look at what we got and what we are going to have in terms of finances and find the best man for the job. Lambert has done things the old fashioned way, he has worked his way up the leagues in remarkable fashion. As a player he has won the champions league with Dortmund and played under one of the managing greats. I think he would suffice!

    Capello's first Bosman signing would be Heskey, he loves him. Scholari was shocking in England and that was with big money to spend! Also, if we are going to be working with just Bosman's for the next few years, than I can tell you now Capello/Scholari wouldn't join us!

    I notice a few people have seen Lambert's Norwich have had a couple of big defeats to Liverpool and Man City and are now not sure about the manager, totally forgetting about the great results and performances his team have put in this year and the the brilliant work he has done over the past few years. Talk about reactionary. I'd love Lambert as our next manager!

    Douglas is a very good defender, would love to sign him, but with the McLeish situation, may be complicated. Sounds like we have done a fair bit of scouting this season, so hopefully that doesn't go to waste if a new manager comes in and the scouting notes are passed on to the new gaffer.

    I keep forgetting Jean Makoun is our player. Be interesting to see if a new manager will take to him (presuming we get a new manager). Makoun started for the team that won that Greek Cup for Olympiakos today. Olympiakos have won the domestic double in Greece this season (league and cup). His head is massive compared to his body!

    Did Coyle do back to back promotions from league 1 and championship by winning one league and going up automatically in the other as well as do extremely well with the team he got promoted with (which wasn't given a chance in hell)? No he didn't. And tbf, Coyle ain't a bad manager. Joined Norwich after beating them 7-1 with Colchester. He then won that league with Norwich.

    Even Kendrick is saying he is finding it impossible to think McLeish will be Villa manager next season now. He says he can't even see him in the dug out against Spurs if we lose to Baggies.

    We bring in Lambo, Blues lose Houghton to Norwich. Perfect scenario . cant see him leaving Norwich and its paper talk to me because his name has been on forums and the media has picked this up. Been on Norwich's PinkUn forum. Heres some reasons for him to leave for us from one of their fans. Not sure about the "Wealthy owners prepared to bankroll him if he chooses to rebuild the squad" part though!
