  1. It only seemed like Bradley was on the pitch for about 45 minutes whilst he was here. Scored an absolute belter for the US the other week.
  2. Don't think it's saying that exactly. It's saying our scouts watched this guy 10 times last season so obviously rated him highly and that Faulkner went to watch him too. Sounds like we had preliminary discussions with the player and we are now finding out if Lambert wants the player or not by filling him in on what we know of the lad. Saw Enda Steven's play a few times in the reserves last season and I wouldn't be shocked if he fails to make a breakthrough into first team, didn't leave much of an impression on me. This guy could be a better option.
  3. I'm Gonna take a wild guess and say its because he played in holland.. Yeah but he's Australian. It's like Hitz, he had a hybrid Brummie/German accent. Same for Holman, but Dutch accent.
  4. Gary Gardner looking very Japanese tourist.
  5. I once worked at Pizza Hut, and I f*ckin love the kit!
  6. Gotta say, I like both kits. Was a bit wtf at first with the away kit, but it's something different. Will be great for cycling at night in!
  7. Have a feeling Harry Redknapp leaving Spurs could scupper any chance of signing Naughton. Wouldn't be surprised if the new manager coming in wants to keep a young talented full back.
  8. Is Holman like an Aussie James Milner? Reading about him, sounds like it. A proper grafter, versatile, grabs a few goals. At least McLeish did something seemingly good whilst he was here. Did the same with Blue's before he left there and got them in Chris Burke.
  9. Was saying after the Denmark Holland game that I thought this guy would be a decent signing. We were linked with him before under Eck. Daily Mail Bit of a piss poor article, but a link nonetheless.
  10. Jack Grealish is upset about this; I really hope he gets a managers job soon.
  11. Sad to hear, but if it's right for Lambert and the club now, then so be it. Thank you KMac, you have been a great and loyal servant to the club. Wish you well in the future, hope you get a managers job somewhere!
  12. Kevin MacDonald has left Villa after 17 years. Thank you, a great servant for the club!
  13. just noted that - wonder if that means we've not got Lambert's usual back room staff (Culverhouse and Karsa) after all? If Thompson first team coach at Celtic, I'd imagine he'd be the same here. Culverhouse is Lambo's assistant and Karsa is his do it all man, scouting, coaching (head of football operations). So don't think that would effect those two coming.
  14. They were saying 3 years in paper last night.
  15. YES YES YES PAUL LAMBERT! Welcome to Villa!
  16. I am gutted! I honestly thought Ridley Scott had the answers to my life, mankind's existence, our purpose here and the universe in general... Other than that I thought Prometheus was a visually breathtaking movie with an interesting, engaging story, splattered with some big plot holes, but gotta admit, I loved it. I can smell a follow up. I would talk spoilers if I knew how to do the spoiler quote, white font thing.
  17. One of the supposed ITKs on twitter has posted this morning he is bringing his team with him. AVFCMysteryman ‏@AvfcMysteryman Assistant Manager Ian Culverhouse and Head football operations Gary Karsa will join Paul Lambert @ #AVFC #NCFC We shall see! That guy on twitter is a class A bullshitter, he blocked me when I just questioned him about something he said. Saying that, managers usually bring there own staff so very probable.
  18. Pinkun is now in total meltdown and Lambert is trending worldwide on Twatter.
  19. Buzzing! LAMBO's claret and blue army!
