  1. Wonder if McLeish watched the Everton game just. Further proof you can attack at Old Trafford and get goals! McNegative.
  2. Newcastle have managed the same amount of wins than we have all season since they played us in February. We are absolutely shite under McLeish.
  3. 1 off the bottom behind Wolves. Absolutely shocking!
  4. We were doing exactly what Hleb said a lot of the times in todays game, bypassing the midfield and hoping for the best from a Heskey flick on. Surely there is no option for Randy and co now but to sack him at the end of the season, it is just not working on the pitch and it is certainly not working with the entire Aston Villa fan-base. WTF are we doing on the training pitch?Shambolic, pathetic, idiotic, ridiculous, bonkers, f**kin shit appointment! Shit!
  5. We don't want you McLeish, we should have lost today if it weren't for a poor decision from the linesman. Please leave our club! Pathetic! Draws and losses are slowing pulling us into this relegation fight.
  6. Pathetic. McLeish was all smiles when the whistle went, he is happy with a 0-0. Pathetic.
  7. I like it!!! 2 wide men, 2 strikers, no Hutton! Don't think I've been so chuffed with a line up all season .
  8. That a decent team, I'd be happy if we played that, but with Lichaj at right back over Hutton.
  9. Today's game is set up for a Gary Gardner worldie of a goal! Show the country who the most talented Gardner brother is. Come on Villa! 3 massive points please!
  10. What an excellent point that blows fecking great holes in the excuses we have been subjected to recently Well it would almost be an excellent point apart from the fact we really were not shit that game at all. In fact it was probably the best football we have played for a long time. 26 shots, 12 on target, 69% possession, two clear handballs one of which stopped the ball going in the net. It really was one of those games, but to say we were shit (like most of the season) is very wide of the mark. We were pretty shite in the first half, it took 2 goals from QPR to wake us up to the fact we were getting beat 2-0 at home by a bottom team. 2nd half was impressive.
  11. What an excellent point that blows fecking great holes in the excuses we have been subjected to recently Indeed, proves the media also have a short memory when talking about McLeish. His big injury problems have only really happened in the past month, yet the media seem to suggest McLeish has had an injury hit squad most of the season, when it has actually been the total opposite.
  12. Although Keane did seem interested and one of the few players with any footballing brain, his time at VP was not exactly as some people seem to think it was. During his PL time with us we won 1, drew 3 and lost 3 with a return of 6 points from a possible 21. He scored a very good goal against Wolves but in all honesty, how many of the 6 points achieved can be attributed to him? 3 points I'd say, the 2 goals vs Wolves were crucial to the win. His goal vs Newcastle was pointless in the end as we lost. In that time we got a home draw vs QPR, nothing against City and a 0-0 against Wigan. We picked up 4 points in the following 2 games after he left. He was decent for us, but no more than I'd say Ireland was during that period. Those were the days when we had an "experienced" squad under McLeish, and still did absolutely shit.
  13. Whilst I don't mind and I am all for this McLeishOut day if we are safe, this video the group have made got me chuckling and cringing . I was half expecting Optimus Prime to pop up half way through the video.
  14. Saturday 17:15, BBC's Final Score. "We can't expect to win to against a team like Sunderland, with experience and quality in players such as Craig Gardner, Phil Bardsley, Nicolas Bendtner and John O'Shea." In Glaswegian accent. McLeish however added "Alan Hutton was impeccable today, showing the Villa lionhearted spirit. I cannot fault his effort or blame him for the 2 goals that came down his side. He is surrounded by a very inexperienced team."
  15. Remember this, his first press conference! "I'll win you over" McLeish. Oh those were the days!
  16. Not only did Lerner appoint him, he PAID for the "privilege"! :x  :bonk:  :wow: Yeah, £3 million reportedly too! :x  :bonk:  :wow:. Looking back at this season, the writing was on the wall from our first game under McLeish. A dour 0-0 draw at Fulham, where we survived by the skin of our teeth because of some magnificent saves and last ditch defending! 14 draws, 12 defeats and 7 wins later, here we are! F**kin shit!
  17. I still don't understand why we appointed this guy, he is not a Premiership quality manager. I know Randy wanted Premier League experience, but surely he would have wanted good Premier League experience and not bad Premier League experience. Terry Connor, Phil Brown, Ian Dowie, Avram Grant, Alan Shearer have got Premier League experience too. Go away McLeish, jog the feck on! Being a nice bloke shouldn't be a good enough reason to appoint a manager.
  18. My guess is he has watched some our games since when he said he was interested, till now when he doesn't want to consider us. That would put off any decent player.
  19. If it was in Lerner's plan to cut costs this season, then strengthen this summer, I wonder if he took into account that if we had such a rubbish season (like we are having), decent transfer targets might not want to come to the club anymore. Bas Dost doesn't want to come because we are not competitive anymore. Back to square one Randy you absolute plonker. New manager and a positive/clear outlook is needed to give fans and good transfer targets a reason to come to the club or even go to games in fan's cases.
  20. I think with this statement from his agent ends our chances of signing him. Not a surprise, we don't compete at all in the Premier League and nothing is coming out of the club to suggest we will in the future, so fair enough Bas. He must have noticed we never win games anymore under our current twonk at the top.
  21. Yeah I'd also imagine outside investors such as sponsorships would be more reluctant to invest in Villa with the fans not turning up, poor football being served up and hugely underachieving in the league. They could hit in many ways financially in the present and future by keeping it as it is now. Randy need's to realise that you can be a nice bloke, but also a shocking manager.
