  1. Tell you what, I would happily re-install all my music software and dust off the MIDI keyboard to write some form of Oxide/Neutrino-esque track, I'm thinking along the lines of "Ethan (Bound 4 Da Non-League)".
  2. I always preferred "Hannibal Selectah", myself.
  3. If Natalie Portman getting it on with Mila Kunis is ghey then... well it is literally ghey I suppose. But in the most awesome way possible!
  4. Rather embarrasingly (and unimaginatively), that was my pseudonym of choice back in my "glory" days. I say glory, I spun the wheels of steel the sum total of once at some poxy back alley club in Reading.
  5. Christian West - Eterna (Club Dub) L.S.G. - I'm Not Existing (Oliver Lieb Main Mix)
  6. Anybody catch the first episode of Campus? I've never taken such an instant liking to a show before, about 2 minutes in I was nearly crying with laughter. Jonty de Wolfe could very well best Garth Marenghi as my favourite comedy character: "The feeling of making a grown man cry is not an unpleasant one, and I leave my office with a modest erection." "This dream came to me last night, whilst I was deep inside my wife; I rose up like a porpoise, leaping from a river (later, my wife would tell me I swelled to a size she'd never felt before)."
  7. Incidentally, Alan Pardew is an anagram of both Anal Warped and A Raped Lawn.
  8. Coolies, I'll try and think of some more mate. Ah, it takes me back to my yoof!
  9. Piotr Trochowski's heading to Sevilla on a free as his contract runs out in the summer and he's fallen out with Hamburg coach Michael Oenning. Absolute bargain if he settles.
  10. Wish I thought the same, new gaffer is working out well but I still fear it's too little too late. That said, can't help but smile about the result. Seriously, Marco Reus; gonna be better than Marin.
  11. Nothing story, really. Went up to see the band of one of their mates (and at the time manager) play a farewell gig, after muchos drinking we all crashed round their gaffe whilst they were away and we were offered a bed for the night which we duly took ('twas a much better option than the alternative, getting the vomit comet to York at ****-knows-o'clock in the morning).
  12. Just goes like that sometimes, I guess. There's plenty of music that you get told you'll like because you like this or that and it just don't work out (e.g. I love At The Drive-In, but I don't like The Mars Volta save for one album). The till-boy's fervent outrage was definitely amusing though. And plump for Pigeon's, chiefly because they unknowingly put me up for a night after a bender in Leeds.
  13. Ah, The Wombats. I bought their first album on the recommendation of a friend, then returned to HMV to exchange it for Yeasayer's "All Hour Cymbals" a day later. When I gave the young tyke behind the desk my reason for the return being "because it's shite" he didn't seem very happy. Just doesn't do it for me. Nope, for my money if you want quirky, jerky, charming Scouse rock it has got to be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NucxlF_eGSM.
  14. Were you car-pooling with Brian Harvey?
  15. Yes. One of my nephews twatted me in the knee with his toy Batmobile.
  16. Surely that honour belongs to Half Man Half Biscuit? Awesome song though.
  17. That, and he's half-way across the world.
