    The gap between the top 7 and the rest of the league is becoming untenable now with chelsea,spurs and arsenal Strengthening , Man city and Liverpool will have shot off into the stratosphere with there acquisitions and the likes of newcastle and leeds are signing some decent players.I think we will struggle for a top 10 finish.

    He wants a move to Italy and AC Milan are in talks..no chance he goes to leeds.

    Luiz will need to be replaced. Chuk will need to be replaced. Sanson will need to be replaced. We also need a LB and possibly a Striker Possibly 5 incomings maybe more with the 5 subs rule...I dont think we are done in this window by a country mile.

    Newcastle have attempted to sign Declan rice today..but a spokesman for west ham has said that they would consider a deal if Newcastle would take Declans two brothers (Muller) and (special fried) as part of a package deal....

    Unfortunatly another promising player who has done his ACL in 2018-2019 and again his Knee ligaments in 20-21..a huge gamble to be honest

    I wonder with some people saying "Ings and Watkins will be much better next season" what are you basing that assumption on? Last summer people were saying that watkins would score 20+ the season gone and that ings would not be far behind that number. The Analytical side of my brain is saying we cannot take a chance on "they should be better" as its just too much of a gamble if both of them do not perform next season and if it comes to pass it means gerrard's tenure will be over by xmas imho.

    Is anyone else worried about the numerous rebuilds etc going on in the league right now? The likes of Newcastle and Chelsea are rebuilding, Man Utd will have a whole different team and the likes of Leicester, Leeds and west ham are looking to bring in some decent players also. I'm not sure if we are going to finish any where near top 6 or 7.

    I love the signings we have made so far..Im sure we will create even more chances than we did last season with a shored up defence and a proper DM in midfield ,but unless something is drastically done with our forwards i think we will struggle for goals again.

    Critchley played a 4-4-2 36 times and a 4-2-3-1 6 times last season He played Madine and Lavery up front with yates slotting in on occasion Tactically it suggests that he does not play with attacking full backs and prefers the winger system. I hope he is able to switch things around for us this season as that One Formation we played most of last year had us too narrow and clubs just played around us.

    Upgrades on Watkins and Ings are needed next season to progress. A proper number 8 with an engine is also required as im sure luiz will be sold
