    4 Weeks left of the window and people saying "we are done" please quit the doom and gloom crap..we are far from done.. we have lots to move on and loan out(that will always be late in the window due to clubs last minute dealings and wages etc) and maybe one or two incoming surprises also who knows?

    I hope gerrard has the balls to replace coutinho during a game when he becomes invisible and offers nothing. Buendia for me is a much more consistent chance maker..ok he might lack a little bit of that flair that couts can offer but I hope he is used and not just left to rot on the subs bench.

    If you are referring to me Mr 24 posts from Galway..Trust me you never want to make up shit on VT , after all these years on here you get ridiculed and called all the names going.(villalad syndrome) and to be fair who wants that constant abuse. I rarely post about incomings and i am certainly not "making up bullshit rumours" as you call it..then you might know that if you were here for more than a wet minute.

    A midfielder who i have mentioned before is technically done..the club is waiting to resolve contract issues with current players(apparent Registration issues in squad also) and move on at least two players..This will go down to wire..possibly close to window closure. Just so nobody is trolling through all my old posts the player is Ibrahim Sangare

    Sorry i have been to plenty of matches home and away and nearly everyone i know in Villa circles has the same opinion as me.

    If people think that "as if by magic" our two main strikers are going to totally transform themselves into scoring machines this season they are going to be sorely disappointed. Watkins and Ings do NOT work upfront and anyone that thinks that they do need their head examined. If Gerrard wants to play that 4-2-3-1 system he is going to need someone up front who can put away the chances and currently the only person i can see that can do that in the squad is Archer. The club will not put all that pressure on a kid so young so its a definite sign for me that we are going to sign another Striker and either one of Ings or Watkins will be sold. There will be a few outgoings this week..Our defence looks solid now..we need one more world class Midfielder and striker and that will be us done.
