When The Frank and Walters first played over here they were trying a Setanta records bill with A House and The Divine Comedy. I saw Frank and Walters a tree over the early 90s but that gig with The Divine Comedy was the best. I also saw them with Sleeper at the Irish Centre and again they were excellent. I have a lot of singles by them but no albums.

Discipline is the reason I hate WFH. I eat and watch YouTube. Mainly eat. This week due to a lot of work landing in my lap I had to be disciplined.

I have to say I am really struggling with the only face to face interaction I have had this week is my wife. This is week one and thinking this is how it will be for some time is daunting to say the least.

Watched The Gentlemen this morning. My wife popped in intermittently and described it as a shit boy film. It wasn't shit, far from it but otherwise a fair approximation.

When I was a skinny indie kid in the 80s I would only buy my cardigans from M&S. Cost me a fortune back then and the elbows lasted an afternoon but always had to be from Marks and Spencers.

It was a ballache initially for us as milkmen it seems can't use technology but we got there in the end.

I live in a small street and the milkman delivers to 6 or 7 houses in this street. More and more people are getting their milk from a milkman. For us it was based on no plastic bottles and giving our money to an independent.

my milkman is stealthy. Never hear him at all. A lot of the time I am up when he delivers and still nothing.

I am sure it's nowhere near as bad as @Xela s problems but if I have anything more than a couple of slices of bread, too much beer, and more than a couple of slices of pizza I have really painful stomach cramps and to be blunt I am shitting through the eye of a needle. That said with all of this going on I have not only been ignoring any form of a diet for weight loss, I am eating all of the things that I know will hurt me. I am learning nothing.

when I was 5 my nan went to Spain and bought me some slippers. Every year I go on eBay and rebuy a pair of the same sort of slippers. I am 49 and have been wearing the same design slippers for 44 years.
