Brighton are great at giving their young prospects time to develop at other clubs. That doesn’t have to mean their team is left short while those youngsters are away.
At the moment Brighton have 3 senior strikers in Ferguson, Joao Pedro and Welbeck, so you’d have to say their depth in that departement is better than ours.
Not saying you’re wrong here, but fans tend to question reports about their club paying high wages. Reports about the club making a shrewd deal on the other hand, are usually seen as facts.
If you mean Barcelona, Adama Traore, Coutinho and Martin Braithwaite recently played for them too.
Emery didn’t sign him at Sevilla but Monchi did. Monchi seems to revisit a lot of earlier signings (Zaniolo, Acuna rumours) and I’m fine with it.
They will never be good enough to play at the top end of the Prem right away, there's always an adapation period. If Jacob Ramsey had been a couple of years younger and come through the academy now, he'd have been sold too.
Not sure about that. Getting Zaniolo on loan would make sense if we’re not sure he can make it in the Prem, and Harrison on loan would also have made sense as a low risk option for more depth. Loans have their advantages.
Those shirts were soaked early on, but I noticed a lot of our players were sweating like they had some nasty tropical disease yesterday. Sweat pouring down and dripping off their faces. Looked strange.
