Let’s not ignore fact he should have wrapped game up a couple of times second half. yes he made a decent tackle in build up to Ings goal but let’s not kid ourselves over him. shot probably wide if not deflected and almost certainly saved if not. not good enough to challenge for Europe next year

#clowtowntime If there’s one person who I think won’t stand the nonsense and will have clear out the slackers it’s Gerrard. Pre-season will be massive! If I’m December we are struggling then we can review but I genuinely think he will get it right. He’s a winner and will find a way.

It’s not this game in isolation, it’s the culmination of a retched 2 months from him. Stropping around the pitch, fails to find his team mates and to know Ings is missing out is frustrating.

My dad who is the lead for our season tickets had one email which he has completed. But for him solely. it does mention guests at bottom of email. However got through to someone at Villas ticket office who was as useful as a chocolate fireguard. She said she didn’t have a clue what the situation with the covid emails was and couldn’t send me one to fill in. will just have to arrive early tomorrow as I’m guessing it could be a clown show
