  1. Surely as it's two weeks on Thursday there will be some ticket information released this week? 5% of their ground's capacity should see us with an allocation of circa 1,500 under UEFA rules, praying that it gets down to ST holders albeit with very little hope or expectation, I'll be in Warsaw regardless!
  2. Surely they will sell out the home sections Stefan?!
  3. Hello mate, yes please, mine and my mate's first time to Poland and obviously Warsaw so any tips for first timers would be more than appreciated! Is it likely to be one we need to stay alert for as high liklihood of fan trouble or is that blown out of proportion etc? Flying into Chopin and staying in Ibis in the city centre. Congratulations on the impending arrival!
  4. Hit me up in the Legia (a) section of the forum mate!
  5. Would have been rude not to so have coincided us playing in Alkmaar with arranging my stag do in Amsterdam! Going out Thursday early morning to the Saturday lunchtime, judging by a quick scan on social media this seems to be the most popular amongst the Villa masses, be a delight to witness Amsterdam and Alkmaar awash with claret and blue, see you there!
  6. Booked, Wizz Air from Luton, don't think I've got a hope in hell of a ticket but will be there dodging white balaclava-clad Legia ultras regardless Looking forward to ticking a new country and city off the list. Anyone else going?
  7. First half was good I thought, gave me flash backs to a few years ago pre-covid, maybe it was the cheaper tickets?
  8. Yeah we need to figure out how we're going to compete with that, can't we be allowed to bring in pyro just for these games?
  9. With the definitely impartial 'Carra' squealing (or spitting as per his rap sheet if you prefer) bloody murder every time a Villa player goes within 5m of a red shirt...
  10. I actually thought it was pretty good last night in the first half particularly (I was in Lower Holte L1) and you couldn't really hear the Hibs fans much at all from where I was standing, especially considering we were 5-0 up on aggregate from the first leg, should be brilliant when LegIa and AZ come to B6, looking forward to it! In addition, I thought the encouragement from the PA system starting HEITS at kick off was a good touch and got it going from the off, hope that continues!
  11. I've got my claret and blue balaclava ready! Legia away on a Thursday night is going to be - to quote a famous West Ham-supporting cockney actor - "pwopa nawtyy"
  12. You'll be fine 100% mate nobody checks. As for the wider Gestapo-like announcement from the club in general, I'm getting a bit sick and tired of them assuming all supporters are criminals and treated us as such. I do understand the anti-touting measures to try and prevent tickets being flogged on 3rd party websites for 5x face value but to threaten season ticket holders with bans if they can't make a game at short notice and give their season card to a relative etc for one game smells horrifically bad from the club. What next to satisfy them, facial recognition upon entry and denied if you don't match??
  13. About two dozen or so returned tickets showing again, cancelled because they were bought by Hibs fans when it mistakenly went on general sale for five minutes maybe?
  14. Fair comment, appreciate the education mate
  15. I don't disagree with you my friend, fair point indeed!
  16. I didn't say anything about conditions, we're talking about being able to bring flags/two-poles/banners/drums etc into the stadium, why would we want to make it easy for visiting fans to create a good atmosphere?
  17. Hopefully after we get through against Hibs on Thursday (fingers crossed) he comes out after the game and in his post-match inverview for Villa TV thanks the supporters as usual but with a 'they drink in town' twist... Mate
  18. Villa don't have drums but we have plenty of two-poles (most courtesy of Project B6) and like you say plenty of flags and banners every home game, but don't be aghast at not letting the away team's fans be able to create an atmosphere!!
  19. I managed to get two in K1, weirdly selecting a seat with an exclamation mark designated as a 'future rail seat' would just flash at me and not go into my basket but selecting a seat with no '!' on it did.
  20. 132 tickets in total showing available at the time of writing so in reality only 100 or so have seemingly done this as well as Hibs fans who thought they were being incredibly clever and wouldn't get found out despite only just creating a new AVFC online ticket account, only buying a ticket for one game and a Scottish McName and address attached to said account to top it off having their tickets cancelled
  21. They definitely are, and I agree with your second comment however if any over-inebriated Hibs fans start coming out with any anti-English bile it might be a different story! I know their fans are in a different stratosphere in terms of bigotry to their Old Firm Glasweigan neighbours (in a good sense) but any pro-IRA chants might end with a thick lip/broken nose as well as still a sore subject in our city following the 1974 pub bombings, many Villa fans support the Justice for the 21 campaign for the victim's families and there are people collecting money for their campaign regularly around Villa Park on matchday. If I'm way wide of the mark in assuming many Hibs are of a similar political/reglious allegiance to Celtic then please forgive me.
