    Tickets

My email has just come through mate so might be worth checking!

    Tickets

Same, would have preferred to go in the Upper but got that same error message so had to grab one in the lower.

    Tickets

AVFC have taken the money out of my bank account, the seat I chose is no longer available and the ticket is showing in my account so I'm presuming all is well? Just seems abnormal as it is usually instant upon purchasing!

    Tickets

Anyone else bought an Everton ticket this evening and not received any confirmation or the usual instant e-ticket email?

    Tickets

On sale as of 5pm to members. Would be surprised if they hadn't sold out by morning. Weirdly, all of the Upper Holte was unavailable with a message stating 'this area is locked' if you attempted to click on a 'K' block area, Terrace View related? Also, I managed to get one in the lower a couple of minutes after 5pm, but haven't yet received any email confirmation or e-ticket via email yet, usually the e-ticket email comes through pretty instantly, just wondered if there is anyone else in this position? The money has been taken from my bank account by AVFC and the purchase is showing in my online ticketing account so I'm presuming it's all good but just thought it was abnormal.
  6. I've spoken to (an incredibly sound and helpful guy who is in charge of Terrace View accounts) at AVFC hospitality this week so please let me clarify: You 100% lose your place on the season ticket waiting list if you take up Terrace View this season. Your only option at the end of the season is to renew for either a Terrace View seat again for the 24-25 season or another hospitality place (subject to availability). If you aren't able to or don't wish to do this and want a standard season ticket you go to the back of the 30,000+ waiting list queue. Not taking the Terrace View up does not count as a strike against you, so for people who are a number lower than 10,000 on the waiting list currently and therefore stand a good chance of being able to get one over the next three years or so when the stadium capacity is increased this would only serve really to stitch yourself up into paying thousands of pounds per season more if you want a season ticket to watch the 19 Premier League home games that Aston Villa play.
  7. Doesn't look that way, unless we've taken more allocation: https://entradas.valenciacf.com/valenciacf_webservices/en_US/entradas/evento/31298/session/1755652/select?viewCode=V_733
  8. I agree - bad but not horrific (sad we're content with that situation as an offering however in this day and age and the way the game is going it's the truth). I suppose it's blocked maybe a few hundred on the waiting list from potentially getting a standard ST as they can't afford to fork out for The Terrace View.
  9. The Terrace View match seats aren't in the middle of the Trinity. Queue jump in the sense that someone who is almost at a stage on the waiting list where they can purchase a season ticket in the Holte End but can't afford to shell out £1,560 can be jumped over by someone who can to effectively sit in the same seat to watch the matches with access to a plusher bar. Fair enough - I didn't realise it included any drinks.
  10. I honestly don't see the value, works out at over £80 a game (on the basis of course that it only permits entry to the 19 home PL matches and not European and domestic cup matches), I've read by someone who called the club to ask a few questions that you can only renew it for another Terrace View seat at the end of the season again and if it doesn't entitle you to purchase away tickets (if eligible to ST holders which they scarcely do) then that is a hell of a lot of money for access to spend more money in a slightly plusher bar and a match programme for a standard Holte End match seat. The principle of the ST waiting list queue-jump slightly irks me (morally someone who is next in line for a season ticket can be trampled by people who can afford this if they can't etc despite the fact they've waited much longer for the opportunity to purchase a season ticket) and it also strikes me as baffling that it is this particular stand and area of the stadium that they are doing it in. Surely anybody with half an interest in Aston Villa Football Club could have told them that the Holte End makes the least sense to incorporate hospitality arrangements?! The seemingly very poor take-up of the Terrace View bolt-on option by existing Holte End season ticket holders is telling and no doubt a reason as others have mentioned further up this thread. If it was £800, or even £1,500 and included two or three drinks tokens per match and included cup games as well it may have tempted me to part with the money, but I just can't see the sense in doing so at the moment unless I've got something wrong...
  11. Called the ticket office today and got it sorted mate thanks, for some reason my Claret membership hadn't aligned with my online ticket account.
  12. I renewed my Claret Membership in May (expires June 2024) and I'm unable to purchase tickets for this (says 'coming soon'), seems like something hasn't married up here?
  13. I have been on the season ticket waiting list since its creation and have received no emails from the club regarding this.
  14. Maybe the real question is why do big gut-suffering football fans think wearing a replica shirt is a good look?
  15. I say this every year and probably need to don a tin hat to say it but the idea of grown men having hissy fits about a football kit makes me shudder at the weirdness of it to be honest, all that I really care about is that it's claret and blue...
  16. What's the point in going otherwise? Most of us aren't going to get tickets to the actual game Joking aside, it's the local ultras who will attack families in Villa shirts given any chance and the local police who in some countries seem to be paid a spot bonus for each English fan they can beat that are my main concern.
  17. Unless I'm missing something as well nothing official has been announced with regards to the Terrace View and just anybody who can afford it being able to purchase its benefits so it's all hypothetical anyway.
  18. No - if you're thinking that's my opinion after reading my posts then I've obviously not come across as intended for which I apologise for.
  19. That's not what I'm saying at all mate please don't think I'm having a pop at you or indeed any other fan, I was referring to the clubs/powers that be wanting all of the stadia to be full of corporate boxes paying top dollar to watch the game, not a true Villa fan who pays for the terrace view in the Holte End!
  20. Fair points made, @thabucks I suppose we don't actually know it's on offer at the moment it's just rumoured to be announced in the future for non-existing Holte End ST holders. @blandy I agree, I think the Holte is sacred for the core, hardcore vocal Villa support and the one stand that shouldn't have any form of hospitality/corporate/premium access or availability. I can't quote it off the top of my head exactly and my copy is gathering dust in a box in my garage which I can't be bothered to go and get but I'm sure Nick Hornby in Fever Pitch asks 'who will create the atmosphere that a lot of these corporate/hospitality folk pay to come and be a part of?' because it sure as buggery won't be them. I appreciate the counter-argument to that is that Fever Pitch was published in the early 90s and the Premier League/top-level game in England has got to the inevitably sad stage that's exactly what you said that the clubs/authorities/sponsors don't give a flying hoot about this and if they had their way the entirety of the stadia would be made up of people paying this money.
  21. Very fair post there blandy, I guess the only thing I would push back on ever so slightly is that I could get on board with that 100% if the actual seat in the ground on offer was a 'premium' seat. In essence it's a general admission seat with access to a better concourse unless I'm mistaken?
  22. Not judging or having a go just purely out of curiosity - if this does come to fruition would you not have any sense of guilt over stepping over someone who is further up the ST waiting list than you but can't afford to pay for this hypothetical (at the time of writing) access?
