  1. The Ship in Wandsworth is a good'un as well and not too far away, although might be a bit too cold out for that!
  2. Not 'allocated' any as such ("we're Aston Villa, we drink where we want!") but Earl's Court is the place. Courtfield, Prince of Teck etc then the epic walk from EC to the ground en masse with all the locals gawping as Villa songs echo in the West London air!

Same, had an email on Friday saying they'd been dispatched but still nothing on the mat!
  4. Not quite the same, I hate to remind everyone of that awful time but the gap between ourselves and Bradford in the pyramid at that time was far greater than the one between Chelsea and Boro currently.

I think the day that this happens is the day I stop attending (even if it's my own ticket which will match the biometrics of my face!)
  6. The potential effect of this can't be underrated, particularly the fact that Villa fans will have an entire behind-the-goal end. Usually the away fans at Chelsea are shoved in that corner but with an entire Shed End 6,000-strong roaring Villa on and completely out-noising the (fairly disgruntled at the moment I would say) home crowd from start to finish you'd think that would only help our cause on the pitch.

Correct. Returned tickets go on sale to the criteria to which they initially sold out, in this case ST holders.
  8. I'd go with something like: Olsen Cash Carlos Lenglet Moreno Dendoncker Kamara McGinn Bailey Duran Diaby

An entire Villa Shed End, will be a sight to behold I recall an amazing atmosphere with Villa taking up the entire Shed under MO'N when Randy Lerner put free coaches on for us despite the fact we got battered (I think) 0-4 down there.

Would it suggest there is something wrong if a season ticket holder (who didn't attend Boro) eligible tomorrow at 5pm on their AVFC ticket account when logged in and click on 'away tickets' can't see this game listed at all but a non-ST holder claret member (also logged in) not eligible until Wednesday 5pm can albeit with a 'coming soon' message?!
  12. Really appreciate that mate, will do that, cheers!

This is what I'd be interested to hear opinions on.
  14. The fourth round of the FA Cup - uncharted territory for us of late! Be interesting to see what team he puts out with a huge PL game against Newcastle a few days after.

From the Chelsea OS: Displaced Season Ticket Holders Aston Villa have taken their full allocation in the Shed End for this fixture meaning we have to displace season ticket holders in this area. Therefore, displaced season ticket holders can purchase any of the available seats not taken by a season ticket holder during the reservation period. Alternatively, season ticket holders who have been moved from the Shed End can purchase up to 10 tickets on the movers' day to ensure you sit with fellow supporters who are also displaced. More availability will be available on the movers' day so we recommend season ticket holders displaced purchase on this day.

I'll be annoyed if we take the normal league allocation. We could sell the Shed End twice over near enough! Like others before me have posted - it's the only chance some will have at watching the boys away from home is when we get these larger allocations in the cup.
  17. Surely their squealing, seagull-like home crowd won't allow them to just sit back against us like Sheffield United and Burnley did?!
  18. I've been to the Bridge loads of times but have always used public transport as I'm usually well-oiled. However, I was hoping a West London-based VT'er might be able to offer some advice regarding parking for the upcoming cup game there on Friday 26th. I've got work on the Saturday morning so need as quick an exit as possible by car after the game to get home as early as I can, I ideally want to try and avoid tube queues and getting stuck in post-match traffic gridlock afterwards if at all possible. I'm Wiltshire-based so will be on the M4/A4 route, if I'm ever driving into London on a weekend I usually park around West Kensington tube station in one of the residential streets off the North End Road as the parking controls for on-street parking bays are only active 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. I'd like to arrive earlier than 5pm on the day of the game really so that would run the risk of a parking ticket which is annoying as it's easily walkable to Stamford Bridge from there. Does anyone know of any decent car parks within walking distance (don't mind walking up to 25-30 mins back to the car after the game) that would be suitable for a Friday afternoon that for 4-5 hours wouldn't be extortionate price-wise and an easy getaway back to the A4?

Preston got 6,000 at £32 a ticket for the third round there. Can't wait!
  20. Guaranteed we get Man City, Liverpool/Arsenal or Man Yoo.
  21. Shout out to our away end, they sounded superb throughout on the tellybox tonight.
  22. They meet for matches at The Brown Cow Inn in Carrickfergus by the looks of things.
  23. Marschall/Olsen Chambers Pau/Lenglet Cash Moreno Dendoncker Kamara Ramsey Zaniolo Duran Diaby
