  1. I don't think we are controlling games as we have previously. Maybe we are mentally or physically fatigued, perhaps we are holding back knowing what a tough run of games we've got. Perhaps we are not able to control games and making errors like we have been due to other considerations... Its not a bad time to play City agreed, and I'm not bellyaching, I'm in full support of the team and manager.
  2. We seem to be running short of steam, I hope we are holding back rather than being dead on our feet. I guess we'll find out on Wednesday
  3. Mad how we control games at home, and then the polar opposite away. There's plenty Emery can do now with our bench to get a better foothold in this.
  4. The betting charges against him seem to be heading form only a fine. Once this is sorted, it's Zaniolo time
  5. This link up is very smart. We could pay emery £10 mill per year which hits FFP, or we can grow his asset via this footballing partnership which does not. I hope it's a success for everyone involved. When I retire to Spain, I'll get a season ticket
  6. https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2023/dec/01/footballer-ravel-morrison-fined-1000-for-using-dead-persons-blue-badge Looks like Utd sleaze is becoming less sleazy. Soon they'll just be shoplifting or stealing charity boxes
  7. I would rather win a cup, probably fa cup. I feel if we get CL qualification this year, we'll never win anything. The pressure to maintain CL football via the prem will mean we will always drop out of the domestic cups early and we will have very little chance to actually win the prem or CL. Win a cup, then qualify next year
  8. Only caught the second half, but I think it's been agreed to play out from the back, but to boot it when he's pressed hard. This compromise means he feels more confident in his game, and the rest of the team can anticipate what he's going to do better. Looked like a decent backup in this game, hopefully he can build on it
  9. Massive onana skin this one. I just feel a draw at best is what we'll end up with. We won't just keep winning especially without deserving it...
  10. Great win, another at home. Top of the group, what's not to love. Well done boys
  11. Wasnt that what he did which went about 40 yards wide?
  12. I'd just like to say, we're not selling John McGinn
  13. People have lost their actual minds. Very odd
  14. If they'd won and were top of the league still, and he didn't get injured - noone would care about the foul. So the vitriol is not about Cash, it's about pent up salt from decades of failure.
  15. Maybe Cash is already the backup in an ideal world. Watkins. Diaby Ramsey. Kamara. Luiz. Mcginn Moreno. Pau. Carlos. Konsa Looks pretty good to me
  16. I've not watched Angeball before this season, has he always ragged the **** out his players in the first hour so they all get injured and run out of steam?
  17. I think emery probably sees either Carlos or Konsa as the answer. That's why we let Young go
  18. I was listening to the claret and blue podcast (Dan Bardell) today and I think they're right about our intent this window. They don't hink we need anyone, and there's a good arguement to not sign anyone. Backup keeper - perhaps we reason that the drop off would be that big from Emi that it's not worth the expense to bring someone in now. RB - who are we going to get as an upgrade to Cash in Jan who's not costing a fortune? The rest of the squad looks pretty good with Ramsay and Moreno due back imminently. We also have to consider longer term injuries (and any players sold that we might want to buyback) and how they will affect the squad in the summer. If we sell Traore, Chambers and Dendonker, they haven't really played so wouldn't be missed that much. We've got some really good options on the bench that need more minutes. ..So if we keep our powder dry, see where we finish and go from there
  19. Start cash so that he gets straight back on the horse in a less hostile environment. Think he could be a bit fragile with all the spurs nonsense. He's probably been sent death threats and god knows what...
  20. Heads will roll for this. Or hands...or arms, that would be fitting.
  21. content://media/external/downloads/1000007954 Son nearly broke that Fulham players leg with a much worse tackle
