No agreed, he generally seems like a good lad.
-
Not sure I said it was malicious, just not really on board that the gesture was worthy of filming, posting and then admiring as particularly generous. He probably gets enough worthy praise in life without blowing any more sunshine up his ass for nothing imo.
-
Sorry I'm not overcome with the magnitude of this gesture. I'll work on it by clapping at traffic lights
-
No I take it back. Perhaps he could get some kind of trophy next time he holds a door open for someone too
-
What a gesture, giving away something that doesn't belong to him presumably because he was too warm
-
Played pretty well, hope he kicks on. Likeable guy
-
It was easier when he was told to just throw the ball as far as possible, run around and wait for Coutinho to score
-
I agree watching us we seem patient and negative in a way, but then we've scored the second most goals in the league...

True, but the rumours of a fall out seem to be true if he's getting moved on too. So with the social media stuff, that's pretty moody considering our investment in him and disrespectful to emery. He seems pretty immature on the pitch, so wouldn't surprise if he is off it. Happy to support him if he wants to be here, happy to get rid of not. No hard feelings from me
-
Will he get that much at Milan? They've got better options already
-
He's an Aston villa player and it seems a bit of an "up yours". We've spent £20mill, countless hours and support to settle him in and given him plenty of opportunities to shine in a successful team. Hopefully we can free up some cash and get someone in who appreciates our club
-
If true, reinforces the "petulant" accusations..
-
Agreed, oh well probably wants to go to another London club. Plus Tottenham are firmly in a title race don't you know

Wasn't Ings around then, so would be third choice rather than second?
-
I can. Emery does not like chaotic players or chaotic people IMO. If Duran is as chaotic as he appears, then I'm guessing Emery would rather reallocate the £20mill elsewhere. Whether we can put a deal together that suits player, agents, managers and finance people - that could prove very difficult..
-
I think there is a lot of value where a player is in a squad that doesn't play to his strengths. Out Matty cash is a good player but doesn't necessarily suit our new way of playing.

Ah. Yeah, they're screwed.

Isn't he going to just sit on a warmer bench tho?

The top leagues are full of players that made it out of academies. I want some more of ours to, tim is top of that list

I think these top ex-players fall into the trap of demanding the respect off the players that they think they deserve from their playing days, but have done nothing to earn it. They also are egotistical enough to believe their skills on the pitch will automatically transfer off it
-
Generally speaking man utd. This year arsenal's perpetual whining bitch mentality is grinding on me
-
Duran would cause friction in an empty room tbf. Emery will handle him and get the best out of him
