  1. It looks like a Canva template lion to me.
  2. Not overwhelmed by either badge but I actually prefer the shield.
  3. Not expecting an immediate bounce here in terms of the result, I would settle for a clear improvement in our overall shape, our desire to compete, and the speed with which we move the ball.
  4. I also hate that **** font, looks like something used for a basic header in MS Word. Surely we can do better.
  5. This can't be the badge though? 1) the new badge hasn't been chosen, there are two options to be put to a vote 2) the lion is facing the wrong way based on all feedback from those who have seen the options 3) ? why would they go through a whole drawn-out process only to tease the new badge at the start of a training vid before any other confirmation or narrative is supplied
  6. Jesus. Doing business like that, I'm not surprised. So are you paying by PCP or how does it work?
  7. Baffling tbh, they've just let it go cold. Fair enough if they decided to shelve it for now but you've got to let your customers know. You can't engage people in an outreach program, promise to follow up, and then say nothing for months. If it wasn't for OBE and other heads who were nominated for the consultation sessions, the rest of us would be wondering whether they'd made any progress with this at all. But says a lot about where the club is at with its supporter service at this moment in time. Perhaps it's part of a bigger review we're not privy to, since it was one of Purslow's passion projects. If he's on thin ice with the owners, maybe they've shelved everything he was driving forward for now.
  8. Just seen that Cazoo have posted losses of £270m, **** hell that's a huge amount of money for a company of their size to be losing. Hope Mr Purslow is back doing the job he's supposed to be doing and sounding out other potential sponsors as we speak.

Unai brutally wrestles them out of every shot so he can take centre stage, bellowing "There's no us in Emery - only me!"

Almost as much glee in his face as when he was handing Slippy G his P45.

I love that there's a photo of the new gaffer with the ball at his feet giving instructions, and Ollie Watkins looking confused. Really sums up our strikeforce.

Great to see the big men together, but weird low quality photo to be sharing on the socials

Of course there's no curse but that's a bit of an overly simplistic reading. We've been let down not just by bad managers but bad sporting directors, scouts, agents, players (ahem, Grealish), CEOs. Yeah we've had a rake of bad managers but the rot in the club goes from top to bottom in a lot of periods, which virtually guarantees bad management anyway. Emery won't be any more successful unless the poor processes, decision-making, spending etc are fixed behind the scenes.
  15. It's unreasonable to expect us to release our only decent goalkeeper ahead of a critical match when we are in a relegation dogfight and we are the ones paying him a salary, not them. They had to have known we'd refuse. Why bother really
  16. We don't need no pest control.

Load of old ballix innit. Hopefully the viewership will be way down (I for one am abstaining) and they'll do similar again... Who am I kidding.
  18. Argentine FA wanted him released early head of the World Cup so he could play a friendly. They're like panto villains at that FA, everything they do is so unreasonable and makes them so deeply unlikeable as an organisation.

I didn't get the attempt at humour either mate
  20. Thanks for the heads up, I've just gone to her Instagram to read that. So that's part of the story but doesn't explain the reports from Guardian of her being dropped by England due to poor attitude, and doesn't really match Carla Ward's comments from weekend thinly veiled but suggesting similar. "Something happened yesterday" were literally her words, what's that mean? I suppose it could refer to an injury of some sort but the way she phrased it overall wouldn't make sense then. Hampton was left home "for the good of the squad". Really strange one ......
  21. Definitely would ___? Definitely would consult her for nutritional advice?
  22. Modern, classic, unique. Horrible.
