  1. Some of the people at Castore do suck cocks. I can confirm.
  2. Say what you want about his alleged behaviour and attitude, not unlikely but nonetheless unproven so far: He was brought in with a clear mandate by NSWE to improve our financial standing and generate more revenue for the club, and he is doing that. He's also got the right posture about breaking the cabal at the top, whether people consider them the big 6, the sky 6, the top 4 or however else people want to group / label them. We are here to disrupt and he is a disrupter and despite a rocky start on the PR / fan engagement front (which I admit cannot be ignored or disregarded), he is getting the principle job done that he was employed to do.
  3. He's very, very good. Attributes are a little staggering in some ways: he's fast, tall, strong, has a mean first touch, can dribble, knows how to turn his man, picks out clever passes, and can finish. Plays with a confidence that belies his inexperience at this level, too. Goodness me.

    Unai Emery

Huge huge huge, I could not be happier.
  5. You've never had to deal with Villa customer service if you think it's all as simple as that.
  6. It's not that deep mate. Try to have a bit of fun with things sometimes. In the grander scheme of things, this is small change. I'll leave it there
  7. Sorry for trying to make light of something that people have gotten carried away about, I'll never do it again Here's the thing: You're not changing the situation or making it even 0.1% better by complaining. There is a thread here with 230 pages worth of posts, months and months of people complaining, and it's been silence from the club. It's almost as if they know they're damned if they do and damned if they don't! I don't like any of the 3 badges but what I've learned from that is that the club is not going to be able to please me while also pleasing everybody else. You might want to think about that for yourself. It's literally impossible. Someone will say in response "it doesn't need to please me it just needs to not be shit", but I'm sorry, that's just not true, this thread proves it. People (by which I mean "the majority") will not be happy with anything less than the image they have in their head of what the badge should look like. Their idea / preference is the right one. Yes Heck's badge is crap. Yes, so are the others. Yes it's all very frustrating. But if you can't, after 230 pages and endless moaning from countless posters, throw your hands up in the air and try to have a sense of humour about things, then I feel sorry for you.
  8. Or you could choose to look at the situation with a sense of humour.
  9. Decanters? Is that for all the whine?
  10. So just to sum up this thread, for any who don't want to go back and read it all. Lerner badge: shit. Purslow badge: shit. Heck badge: shit.
  11. I am starting to think more and more that we are reversing plans to change the badge and will in fact reinstate the Lerner badge from next year on. Perhaps not for the long long term, but short to medium term. Just a hunch.
  12. Thank you. I said similar to a group of friends and was met with "But offside is offside" and "It'll always be a case of millimetres". The collective brainwashing is really strange. Up to a few years ago when VAR came in, that wasn't the case re: offsides. Bad decisions were being made, but they were being made because in real time it was near impossible for the human eye to pick up a few millimetres, or even centimetres, here or there. Now we've gone to the other extreme and we are literally measuring with a digital ruler. This is no better than the problem it was designed to fix, and IMO it has made things considerably worse.
  13. Fair enough, you're probably right. Don't mind me. I'm just completely pissed off about the officials lately.
  14. I do. Thanks for checking. Now please go ahead - make your reasoned defence for a player receiving 2 yellow cards in the same round of a knock-out tournament and not being suspended in the next round. I'll wait.
  15. They're all just making it up on the spot now. Might as well hand the trophies to who they want before the competitions even start. What's the point anymore? I've no love at all for Coventry and the thought of them in a major cup final makes me a little uncomfortable, but I'd have them over that shower of cheating goblins any day of the week, and it sickens me that all the efforts and endeavour of a smaller team who played full of heart and love for the game is undone by some cynical rule-twisting by the powers that be. Who've now decided that yellow cards don't have the same impact as they do in Europe. Great work, you **** spineless, arrogant, cowardly, corrupt AND inept bunch of wankstains.
  16. PGMOL and VAR have conspired to make a mockery of the offside rule. Even if you could make an argument that he was clearly offside (which would take a United fan or a PGMOL employee, but those are the same thing anyway), surely the whole basis of the offside rule is that an attacking player shouldn't have an advantage over a defender when the ball is played. Please tell me how an attacker turned away from goal has an advantage over a defender facing the goal at full pelt? It's a total joke. Drawing lines (which doesn't work anyway, as anyone can see from that image) is not what the rule is **** for. The **** goblins.
  17. How the **** did we bleed 6 points to these **** clearings in the woods?
  18. Never knew Ezri was into that kind of thing. Each to their own of course.
