We bought two more right sided attackers (Buendia, Bailey) when we lost a left sided attacker, who was also our best player. The madness was two fold in overstocking the right side of attack while completely neglecting the left, so I think we did need to buy more attackers...we just bought them in the wrong position. Maybe three fold when Ings is included...prioritising another striker over our biggest glaring gap. It's a mistake that cost Smith his job and has the club wasting millions on superfluous players. (Admittedly Traore and Bailey have been injured a lot, so clearly some depth on the right has been necessary!)

'The left' has been fostered as a kind of boogeyman. I think this video is pretty convincing evidence. It's why there's always an angle...snowflakes, woke, cancel culture. Nobody talks more about this stuff and gets more capital from it than the right wing press. It keeps people in their place.

I don't think he has the right look for the Joker. He seems a bit pathetic—and in the wrong way. I know a lot of Jokers have that kind of origin, but with this actor specifically, it doesn't feel right.

Oh nice! I really rate Ti West and didn't know he has a new film. He has a few unknown gems for sure. House of the Devil and The Innkeepers were great.
