I don't think Ollie has been the same since he became a dad. For whatever reason it just isn't working all round is it, I've no allegiance to Gerrard bit I will give him the summer and hope he really is the real deal. Based upon the squad we have though and seeing what that numbshade shade is getting from a worse squad at Newcastle I have reservations. I can dig it, I didn't want him but he surprised me initially and so he gets the benefit of the doubt from me. If it doesn't turn he will get serious pelters from us lot though and he will never manage plop if he doesn't swing it here.

Gerrard will see that we get Coutihno over the line, he's an outstanding player and will thrive with a better balanced 11 with ALL of them working as one. I do worry though about adaptability and ingame general management, I think Gerrard is after a good lineup with a set gameplan and this just isn't enough. We must be flexible.

There have always been celebrities at ring side, it never used to get mentioned, it was all about the fight, you can see Gene Hackman about 5 rows back at the Hagler/Leonard fight, never mentioned, these days the director is actively seeking them out as part of the entertainment, I guess to get non fight fans who would see the celebs obligatory SM photo opportunity, interested. Football will eventually head this way.

Could be, however, watch that uppercut from multi angles and that was a genuine shot, I'd add to this that there were less then 10 secs of that round left when he hit the ground. As with any conspiracy theory, we sound like clowns until it comes out, if ever.

Smith v Gerrard argument is silly, hated the switch at the time but it is at least going to be a sideways move with an upping of our profile, Coutihno is important too and we could do with an upturn to help sell the club to prospective high profile signings in the summer.

A few have alluded to there possibly being something a bit iffy about the timing, Fury was talking to him a lot during the 5th, Fury was also talking to people outside the ring too, particularly when they were getting ready to start the 6th, surely there couldn't be anything a miss, not in boxing surely.

My feeling is that there are too many individual thinkers on the pitch, they go about there own business in a reactive panic mode way of do things instead of functioning as a unit. I've said many times, as have others, what we do off the ball is killing us, WHY? There is a lot of pressure in trying to build something to take on those that are better and that have had a ten year head start and I think quite a few of them cannot handle it.

He might fight Francis Ngannou asap before he starts putting weight on, just for the money. Would have liked to see him fight Joshua before his stock started falling, he's just a busted flush now and wouldn't cope with Fury at all. If Fury wants to really thank the fans he'd stay in shape and fight Usyk.

People can really get worked up on football forums, reading some posts that are comedy gold without intending to be makes me smile, some people have a hidden comedic talent that I do not think they themselves are even aware of. It's quite boring now when we win, if I can remember that far back.

Much respect to the promotors for selling 94000 tickets and whatever PPV they got for that nothing card, how many social media wanna be types went just for their sm posts/likes, I wonder how many real fight fans went to that one. Games gone.

He just isn't and never has been ready since he came, make no mistake, there is a good player in there but we just haven't seen what he is all about yet. Hopefully we will at some point.
