Proper Villa fan with all the credentials, great appointment. Compared to running the BoE villa will be like a corner shop to him. Hopefully he can get the tossers to stop running it like one.

Traore has tonnes of natural of ability on the ball and the physical ability that 99% of professional footballers could only dream of. He has also had the best education in arguably the greatest footballing academy in history. If he wasn't able to pick up how to understand the game (i.e. knowing when to pass the ball, how to move off the ball) at Barcelona, he never will, simple as that, sure as **** Mark Hughes or Roberto Martinez wont teach it him. Not knocking him, he's still a devastating player who I would hate to see go, I just think his potential is overstated.

I'd add 2 points to the gap tbh. Yeh we are 9 points from newcastle but its norwich 2 points above we are chasing atm imo. Newcastle have enough quality and are playing well enough to suggest they will soon be past them.

i know he has a lot of fans, but i haven't rated and i just don't see anything from open play. He has a phenomenal dead ball delivery on him, particularly on freekicks from that 35/40 yard range where he just gets the ball to drop superbly in the right area (that did make the 93rd minute attempt so infuriating) but he is just so sloppy at times and really seems to struggle with the pace of the game.

Such a lack of pace in terms of running and passing. We need one of the midifelders to take the ball off the defenders, drag a leicester player out of the pack even if it means just passing it back to one of the defenders at first - and the other two and run and get some space off that. Vertourt, westwood and gana are just static, not able to get a couple of yards away from a white shirt. So frustrating.
