i think he came in, had 2-3 poor/average games, got injured, never got back in the side iirc. edit: I was wrong. Came in, played 7 games, of which the last 3 of those was rough, conceding 6 goals in 3 games, came off at half time injured in that 7th game, never got back in the team.

i dont see Mings going anywhere. As of right now, i see our primary central defenders as Mings & Carlos, with two of Hause, Konsa & Chambers as backup. Even if we did sign another DC (like Tarkowski), i would still keep Mings to compete for that starting slot. I really think Mings could go up a level with his game, with a more experienced player like Carlos alongside him, coupled with a better balanced midfield. I really dont see Mings leaving, at all.

each league has a weighting, depending on that weighting it changes the requirements. I think in a top league like spain, its basically just playing a good amount of games for the first team. Cant be just caps, as Carlos doesnt have many Brazil caps.

ye cant disagree with that, we have a few with only 1 year left on their contract (El Ghazi, Trez, Guilbert, Kalanic), so we really need to be trying to cash in on them at least. Luiz as well if he doesnt sign. Davis also tbh, a few million for him would help (2 yrs on contract, but still, a few mil for him pls).

So, since Jan: Digne - 25m Chambers - free Coutinho - 17m Kamara - free Carlos - 26m 68m very well spent imo. I wonder how much more we intend to spend? Hopefully we will rake in a few million for our fringe players.

I think Archer needs to go on loan for a full season next year (in the champ), he isnt too old either, the same age as when Tammy was with us, a full season would do him good. I wouldnt send him to Norwich tho, they play with 1 striker and have Pukki, who is a proven and season championship performer, he needs to go somewhere where he is a starter and gaining experience, not as backup to probably one of the best strikers in the league. Ofc, i agree he should go to a team that plays the right way, and is aiming higher up the table, but Norwich would be a terrible choice imo.
