Yes I agree Southgate will more than likely stay on but there will likely be a lot of conversation from the FA around the subject of set up and style of football given the squad selected / available , I still would be keener to see a fresh approach -

I don’t think Southgate will get a choice on this one , in the coming weeks the media , pundits and public asking for a more attacking future approach and also asking why JG wasn’t given more game time especially in the final will pressure the FA into forcing him to be more aggressive , personally I hope Southgate says it’s not for him and steps down -

i agree with all of this , I think we all know the modern game involves ‘game management’ but that was awful to watch at times and the ref was tricked by 90% of the nonsense by Italy, although like you said when Italy play football it’s lovely to watch , modern game

agree with this , looked on a different wavelength, Jack is expecting movement around him otherwise he gets double triple marked ,if Jack had started the game England could have clicked and kicked on , really difficult coming from the bench not only to create something but to lift a completely flat team -
I thought Tyrone had another commanding game tonight , didn’t do anything wrong looked a comfortable leader ,we will have an even better Tyrone for next season to lead us forward , unfortunately after media pressure and poor management slabhead will undoubtedly be brought back in ASAP, i am sure Tyrone and the AVFC staff will see past this and take the positives which he has achieved , well done Tyrone
