Can’t disagree with that… we failed to support JPA who had a hard time… had we given him the necessary support, he could have been an even better player for us… and have an even greater “legacy”… regret…

The biggest problem is his injury proneness, he wasn’t available when we needed him for the run in for example. It’s not worth having players on big wages who are not starters and are rarely fit and rarely on form… For all the talent he has, if he isn’t going to be consistently available and making some sort of impact… it’s a waste of funds and a waste of a squad space that could potentially go to a younger and more effective player… a new signing or replacement perhaps? Unai is best placed to judge, but one positive performance or cameo in 10 games… is not worth it to us… A player can have 10 bad games and put in an impressive cameo and our hopes are reignited… A player can put in 10 positive performances, have one bad game and is written off… We are usually quite fickle, not really worth denying it…

A fit and firing Neto would probably be the only player of interest… a long time since he’s been that. Other than that, they are very mediocre but the fans are incredibly deluded and arrogant. A humbling is very much required over there…

Why of course… apparently, according to their dumbass fans, none of our players would get into their side bar maybe Watkins… Why wouldn’t we want to sign their superstars?? Surely any one of their players would improve our side tenfold?

Yeah I believe so… I do wonder if interest might be “reignited” now that he’s been made available and Unai has appeared to be a fan and commented on him in the past. Would be dependent on a midfielder leaving, most likely Dendoncker, but… I can’t really see it happening or a matter of importance/urgency for us… I’d still like us to add an additional goal threat… and feel it may happen toward the end of the window…
