Basically, an ultimatum to whatever bids we have in, that if a deal can't be done by Sunday... We move on to other targets I reckon!

The issue I have is how Bristol city set up... If they set up with 1 up top then our 3 central defenders are marking 1 man. I will be honest and say I don't know if city will play 1 or 2 up top. I just think we can't say play 3 at the back Willy nilly because we need to know how the opposition will set up.

I was getting so disillusioned with what was going on at villa that I haven't been to a game since we beat hull at home under Lambert. Along with having 2 young children, 1 and 3. But, thanks to what the big Doctor has done for us, I am now organising my next trip to VP with a group of mates for Blackburn on 5th November and also planning Leeds on New Years Eve. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Dr Tony for everything he has done for this football club so far. If Deisler could pass this on to him!! Long may it continue!

I remember having a huge strop when lescott equalised, proper toys out the pram stuff.... Then Young did that and it was the first time my old man ever hugged me. He's a proper non emotion type bloke, but he let it out when we scored that goal!

I actually know a lad starting for hull tonight. Jarrod Bowen. He scored the winner which kept Hereford in the conference a few years back and they ended up folding anyway. Good player as far as I'm aware, but not that level I wouldn't have thought in the end. I also know Kieron Morris playing for Walsall. Both from my town of leominster, which is pretty mad seeing 2 local lads playing at a high standard.

We got de laet, and it looks like Newcastle are going to get yedlin. It will be interesting to see who has the better player. I'm going to go for us. Just wondering if bentaleb is a realistic option, he would be a good signing at this level if you ask me. Worth, also, looking at a few young lads in action tonight and see if they are good for a loan.

I wonder what the final spend will be?? With a striker a definite, you'd be thinking to add another 10/15 mill on top of what's done already. We certainly can't doubt the doctor based on this summer.

I think the fact we've given him a 3 year deal rather than anything higher would suggest we see him as someone to help get us up then become a squad.player. Good management again

Let's not forget, he's said he wants them done this week... Still a lot longer than that left of the window. Which means 2 things to me: We have identified the striker and are fair way along in negotiations. We have another week ,nearly, after this to bring more in... Definitely no need to panic with regards attacking midfielders or wingers.

Just didn't seem like a 100% kinda post... More like an opinion. But if you are 100% then I'm glad in a way because for all his quality, it's a gamble and I wouldn't take a gamble at the moment. It really isn't what we need to do.
