  1. Very jealous. Fantastic write-up. Well done. Things are looking up.
  2. I'll go with no so just to keep it interesting... Then at least one of us can say "I've always said this was going to be the case" or similar after the event.
  3. Gollini wears no. 95 for Hellas Verona. Hopefully it's true so we can see that!
  4. Rafa is retired now isn't he? So Miguel is probably at a loose end and maybe Xia was a fan of Championship Manager 96 or so and is having a look at him now!!
  5. Miguel Nadal? Rafa's uncle and played for Barca I think.....
  6. Palace won't go down if they get him. He kept us up almost single handed for 3 seasons!
  7. Ah, a Pro Evo throwback. Before they actaully got the rights to call players and teams their real names.
  8. So are you suggesting with some minor positional adjustments (bearing in mind coaching has been piss poor (in my opinion) recently - theoretically now improved) the rickets could be eliminated and he could become a decent defender? Or is he just a lost cause?
  9. Different style (collar, neck shape etc.) for home and away? Is this standard? I've never noticed it anywhere before....
  10. Think it's Grealish after a quiet summer in the gym and a trip to the stylist.....
  11. Surely this rebuild was part of the Euro preparation and was heavily subsidised?
  12. Really? Thought Gabby actually got bigger when he was in charge.
  13. Never said that. Just thought I'd add some balance to the argument. Don't get me wrong, I believe that there are a lot of good players in the lower leagues of every country that haven't been discovered yet or probably never will be but not every one of them is a Vardy or Mahrez either.
  14. He probably wouldn't because he didn't cost 50mil like Sterling and everybody knows that's the measure of how good a footballer you are. Not the trophies that you win!
  15. Its really not to be fair but it is also the players mentality and one of the reasons that they crumble when they concede against "lesser" teams Anyone could see that Iceland we're going to cause England problems. They're organised have a good team spirit have played well during the group stages and despite what people think they have some good quality in their side. England had a massive chance prior to this tournament of winning it. Or at least that's what I thought (and I'm Irish so it pained me to say that when people asked me before the tournament). I watched them against Germany in the friendly a few months back and they looked really good had a togetherness that is not usually associated with England, played some good football and actually beat the world champions. Then the squad was picked and it was clear that Hodgson had bottled it (the Wilshere selection was criminal) and it became the same story again. Things start to go wrong, players blame each other, the togetherness disappeared and then they just crumble.
  16. With Xia in charge I wouldn't have thought we'd need to go to such extremes to raise funds. Especially when it's the size that he takes
  17. Richards is a terrible crosser and he's pretty lame at most things. Okore would probably be better and could do a job but personally I'd prefer if he was left at centre back and we buy a rb to fight it out with Hutton.
