Attendance for this game should be low as usual. Blosers have to choose between buying a ticket, or a carton of menthol cigarettes for their kids.
  2. Villa 3-1. Crowd 21 156, with an extra 84 not officially counted because they snuck under the fence.
  3. If there was one game this season he would play, it would be home against the Binrats. He usually plays well against rivals. Not this weekend, though. This game is too important for experiments.
  4. They do need help. They have Richards as our best player.
  5. When Abraham started talking about babies, that increased his deadpool stake.
  6. He moves more and works harder for his goals than Benteke did.

This will be shown about 10am Oztime on Monday morning, and this would normally piss me off, but I have Monday off. This could be the best Monday morning ever!
  8. As each player wears our shirt and runs onto the pitch, they are our player. Sometimes some players don't play up to the expected standard. I would prefer people to be open with criticism, but booing is deconstructive. If anything, it sends players backwards, they will not feel comfortable walking out on the pitch, knowing they are damned whether they play a good game or not. I wish Micah wasn't a lazy prick, and that he would play to the expectations we had prior to him coming. I wish Gabby could somehow recover the form he had during the MON days. I also wish that Westwood would play more consistently to the better, and improve his defence so he is not a human turnstile. Criticism identifies the problems. Booing just amplifies them.
  9. So for Blosers, all crime is legal one day a year. I guess the incest laws wont be in effect either.
  10. From your previous posts to now, you, Sir, are a gentleman. Respect.
  11. It would be really really nice if he played a game in January, plays his socks off, scores a goal or two, is heavily involved, and is a constant nuisance to the opposition, making a statement " That's why I didn't go to Reading. I have unfinished business here. I know I have upset people here, but I want to make amends the only way I know how, by playing the best football I can". But this is just a wonderful dream. He is 30 now. He did very little when he should have been in his prime. It is very hard to come back from that, no matter how much fitness work he does. It is hard to hold any hope for a positive comeback, and any comeback will merely be Gabby trying to jump the shark. With a unicycle.
  12. Joey Barton...is not the answer, only if the question was what is a narcissistic cockwomble. Joey Barton should not be allowed anywhere near Villa so much, they should erect special traffic signs around Villa Park and Bodymoor stating such. I am sure he seems like a decent bloke from his book. If you read Paradise Lost, the devil doesn't seem like a bad chap either.
  13. Of course. I can see that. I also found a way to make my penis 14 inches long. I fold it in half.
  14. He doesn't deserve to be booed. Granted, his passes and defending are crap, and yes, criticism for that will come down range, but at least he is not a lazy prick. ( Hello, Micah). He is still having a go. Booing is a bit too extreme, and some people need to know the difference between a Villan and a villain.
  15. We could do it at Villa Park and call it a homecoming parade.
  16. If a wankfest happens after every Villa win, and we go on a winning run, I might buy some shares in rocket polish.
  17. Recall Veretout? He might do better under Bruce.
  18. I will admit, I liked Gabby alot during the MON days, and I have defended him. I have never hated him, but being 30 now and wasting so much of his prime, its over.
  19. Any Black Sabbath songs worthy?
  20. I guess it all comes down to individual perspectives. I don't think we can define ourselves as mates with Steve Bruce. As it is, some people like him, some people don't. It wouldn't be to the point where we can pop over to his house and borrow his lawn mower or anything like that, but he would probably consider us as "the crowd". The crowd could be admiring and respectful, or they could be abusive or derogatory. The crowd referring him as Brucie could be regarded as quite endearing. The crowd calling him " Brucie boy" could come across as quite demeaning, however, when used in a post, could be regarded as affection. Calling Steve Bruce " Mr Potato Head", however or wherever, is just mean and childish.
  21. His mates would probably call him that. So, yeah. I don't think that " Brucie boy" is that bad either. I have been called something similar by people younger than me, and in context, it wasn't meant in disrespect.
  22. Hear hear. I never liked the term potato head. Its something a five year old would say.
