There are players in the squad that are straight out crap, but I am not convinced Westwood is one of them. Due to the lack of leadership on the pitch, not having a decent manager, and an impotent playing style over the past few seasons, that would stunt the development of a player coming through the ranks. Generally, he hasn't played well, but Westwood has had his moments. With the club in overhaul with some decent mature heads around him, maybe that player within can be coaxed out of him. Failing that, teach him to run like a crab, and we might get the ball going forward.

Fits into the squad like that funny looking tetris piece you need to complete 4 lines. With Elflike at the back providing inspiration and leadership, Mile bossing it in the middle, McScoremack providing creativity up front, and Micah up in the stands where he belongs taking notes and hotdogs, we are actually starting to look like a good team.

When a player is presented with a contract, is there a clause present in exchange for lucrative wages, the player must play to the best of their ability? if so, then he is in breach of contract. However, if that is the best of his ability, then we would have been better off selecting a random 10 year old kid with stars in his eyes from the crowd. He would have done just as good a job, make more effort, and would gladly do it for free.

In regards to Chester, I am a little wary. It reminds of some schoolyard wisdom. " If somebody who doesn't like you wants to give you something, chances are its not good." I am just thinking of the last centre back we bought from West Brom, and how well that turned out.

Watching that video really rammed home how bad he is. That wasn't PL quality, or League 2 quality, or even park football quality. Absolutely embarrassing that we even made him captain.
