Hull desperately need to start investing in quality players, and Richards would be a great start. It would be very disappointing to see him leave, as his work rate, effort, and leadership skills are impeccable. On the rare occasions he has been questioned as a player, he does have high standards, and it is well known you cant soar like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys. Sad to see a true Villa player like Richards leave, but he would be just the player Hull would need to avoid relegation.

Totally agree. We need somebody there to feed these guys, and at the moment, its not happening. Also, I hope we do get Hernandez, even though he falls short of the definition of world class to some. Twice I noticed that we tried to counter attack quickly against Derby, only to be over run by their defenders by the time they got to the halfway line. If Hernandez has pace, then he will be great.

Just watching his in play passing during the game, it was slow, weak, and off target. Almost always, the player he was passing to had to break position and come to the ball. Being able to pass is essential in his role. He really should not be starting games.
