I agree mate but so far we've improved with a +3 points difference and +10 goal difference over the same fixtures last year so how people can say we're going backwards or not moving forwards is beyond me. Just hope Lambert keeps it going for the next 5 fixtures in which we won just 1 of last year (swapping Hull for Reading). Needs to continue on the left wing. Beat Walker a few times and pushed play out wide, clearly suits the role better than through the middle.

I would actually play him considering Benteke is out for a month. Kozak will work best from crosses and Marc can clearly do that better than Weimann.

Lack of a squad obvious, these players are back up for the league! Not really a lack of squad to be honest, we have 25 players, but our squad is certainly not better than Spurs squad. Either way I think we threw tonight's game a bit but it has no impact on relegation.

I can't believe there are 14 new players. Jesus. Basically what Lambert has tried to do with us (overhaul the whole squad) over a period of 2 seasons, but they tried to do it in 2 months. It was never going to work, Altidore looks a shadow of the player I thought he had become in Holland too. McLeish, as I said earlier on, I wouldn't wish him to manage my worst enemy. Hope for them he isn't in the frame.

To be honest, I think Benteke knew he was in pain, it seemed to be Lambert in a frenzy wanting him to get back on. Can't blame him I guess. Okore on the other hand seemed like he wanted to continue but simply couldn't.

How Kagawa is on the bench and Young starts is seriously beyond me. Smalling still looks traumatised from Benteke destroying him last season, genuinely looks terrified whenever he gets the ball.
