The kid signed for 8m was brought up 9 miles down the road so he's settled right in, Diaby has had to adapt to a new country with no support network. We know he can do it but when the ref offers players no protection from a physical team he suffers. If he had the same protection as Saka then maybe we would see more of him in possession. I'm glad he stormed off tbh, alot better than skipping off with a smile on his face .

We not going to gave 2 Emi's so whoever is our number 2 ain't gonna be as good. Yes he can take some blame for the being out of position but tbh the ball over the top took all the players by surprise and we was caught flat footed and that resulted in a poor clearance that Chelsea picked up, why we didn't pick the ball or at least be there to make it difficult is another issue. Poor day at the office and we got a point without the world's number 1 keeper.

Chelsea can't afford him anyway, if we could swap then Gallagher would be the player for us, make a huge difference in games like yesterday.

This, especially with our systems dependency on the keeper holding possession, takes balls of steel and months of in game experience.

It was a hard earned point that's for sure, ref allowed alot of physical contact which doesn't suit us, Chelsea are a big team and individually they have some Great players. Happy with a point, worried about the injuries tbh, Tim did well, he was more affective than Doug was and that's a worry going forward. Was a very similar game to the one we lost in the fa cup. We set up to sit deeper , draw them on then hit them when they over committed and it worked for 2 goals but then we started to lose possession cheaply in these transitions. McGinn, Doug, Rogers and Diaby were all guilty of it. If we have been a bit cleverer we could have carved them open a few times before they scored. Ollie was in a battle and when he did knock the ball back it was there players picking the ball up as our midfield just went missing. I can't understand the drop off in performance from Doug in a game like that, he starts badly and then becomes petulant, almost like he just gives in. Hopefully he will pull it together on Thursday, we need him.

Olsen did OK, made some saves and claimed some high balls into the box. His kicking is OK, quite accurate tbh. What he needs to get experience in is the short balls around the box, Martinez is great at it, now he's gained experience. Olsen needs game time to learn that and to have the confidence to do it. No one is going to be as good as Martinez.

Your giving your opinion a Chelsea players and ignoring our huge injury list to first team player's, we have took 4 points of Chelsea this season despite them spending £1bn, maybe we can pick some bargains up in the Chelsea fire sale....lol

This, not sure what people expect tbh , anyone that know our injuries and then watch 2 of our best players go off injured and expect us to perform at our best. A point was a great result for us in the end, disappointing but hard won. Emery made subs at the right time and set us up as strong as he could with the players he had available.

His commitment to playing around at the back, even when we are under pressure we keep doing it, sometimes it bites us but he persist. He knows that if we can get the players to do it well, under pressure , then we have a winning formula. It would be easy to abandon it in certain games but he persists, he teaching the players to be better and he's also educating the fans, it's unbelievable tbh.
