Not making me xenophobic, really couldn't give a shit what colour people are or where they are from but living in a small town it always seems to be something that happens in major cities so the possibility of something happening here never really crosses my mind. I suppose things like this just bring things closer to home. I have been to a dozen gigs so far this year at the LG & Barclaycard arenas and looking at my calendar for the year i have tickets to another 20 or so shows at the same venues along with a few in London. Guess i will be a little more wary and maybe a little more sober when attending future events

If you look at the video of everyone running down the stairs there seems to be lots of people milling about there (waiting to pick up kids?) maybe they have let people into the foyer/concourse to pick up kids a few mins before it was due to finish?

madness really, 90 minutes ago there were a couple of thousand tweets about a loud bang, 800,000 tweets later and still the only "real" info is that the police have confirmed that there has been an explosion of some sort and there are multiple people dead

no idea on the origin of the pic was just posting a link to the image being discussed. It was on twitter within a few mins of this happening, seemed to be dismissed as fake straight away but resurfaced again an hour later after the fatalities were confirmed. The sun have got someone there taking photos of the injured...

There were photos on twitter an hour or so back that everyone said were fake of what was clearly an explosion in/around a foyer with city room exit & metrolink signs on the door. Really didn't look good. Seems they may have been real after all

The kid is a sunderland fan, defoe is his hero, They seem to be in the papers doing something together every week, Surely Defoe moving to Bournemouth would have an impact on him/the kid and how much time they could spend together so would he stay based on this relationship?

I don't think that transfer fees are that much of an issue for them but the wage structure is. Most of their players (including Alli/Kane) are only on between £50,000-£100,000 per week and they seem reluctant to break the £100,000 mark for anyone. Sure it's a lot of money for the average person, but if you are a player being offered 70k at spurs or 200k elsewhere it is an easy choice. Kane could move tomorrow and get £300,000 p/w at any other top side and despite clearly enjoying himself at spurs at some point the extra 10 million per year he could be getting elsewhere is going to get very tempting if spurs don't start winning things

sunderland fans should be out partying in the street, That clown going at least gives them a chance next year. Quite how they will manage to get rid of Everton oaps he bought is a mystery but at least they will not be buying any more now. Not really hard sci fi and not in the same league as the expanse but the 2 syfy shows that they run back to back on Fridays Killjoys & Dark Matter are entertaining enough if a bit cliched & cheesy at times. Both are due to start season 3 next month Killjoys is 10 eps per season & Dark matter 13 so easy enough to catch up on both in a week or so

Don't forget there is also a small chance that this may not be the final game If Arsenal Draw 1-1 with Everton & Liverpool lose 2-0 then Both Arsenal & Liverpool would end up exactly level on points, goal difference, goals scored & goals conceded. This would mean a final play-off game to decide who finished 4th. In the head to head games Liverpool won both so this would seem like an easier way to decide things rather than an extra game but thems the rules

No sky money now though in scotland. Celtic will get 3 million for winning the league, Only 2nd/3rd/4th get more than 1.5mil. The whole of the SPL gets a split of 19 million for sky/bt showing 60 games. Impossible for anyone to even get close to Celtic when they get 11 million+ for simply getting to the group stages of the champions league. Wayne Rooney earns more in a month than 90% of the teams in scotland earn in a whole season

Bet James DeGale can't wait for his next fight. Andre Dirrell fought Jose Uzcategui for the interim belt to see who would be the mandatory challenger for Degale. He is now wanted by maryland police on first degree assault charges after legging it from the venue
