The less we see of Gabby starting the better for me, the club is moving on with all these new signings and I hope he is used off the bench the odd 20-25 mins here and there but please don't give him a starting role all season it will be just painful to watch.

He's a first team player and proven himself in the last season and a half, he has improved an awful lot and I can see him as a future captain, letting him go would be a disaster, he is one of the more reliable players we have in my opinion.

It's an inflated market, he is probably worth about half that but players are going for way more than what you would imagine.

Spot on, he won the trophies there and was there for a long time, of course he is going to speak highly of the club. Some of the reactions on this thread are truly embarrassing.
