  1. Was that at the end of the season after Little had been sacked or was it the year before?
  2. To be honest I think even if he wanted to leave it’s not that simple. The price has to be right. Pep was telling the truth last season when he said Man City couldn’t afford him. If Man City can’t who can?
  3. @White_Wall welcome. Tongue in cheek thread mate. We all know a top half finish will be a fantastic season. Apart from @villalad21. He is always very positive and you could say overly optimistic. He’s been that way for years. Brings a really air of positivity to the forum. Especially with his heart felt love for Dean Smith since he joined us.
  4. This is a real shame. He’s a good player for them and you want to play them and beat them fair and square when they field their best team. Really feel for their fans.
  5. MON could have had a centre half pairing of Laursen and Mellberg if they idiot could sign a bloody half decent right back. Or he could have gone with Laursen and Cahill instead of spunking 10 million on Curtis Davis (who was decent to be fair) and Zat bloody Knight. Yes MON got 3 top 6 finishes but thinking back to some of the players he inherited and the amount of financial backing he got you do wonder what a better manager could have built.
  6. 3 out of 4 clean sheets is superb for him and the defence. Well done to them. The stat is a bit of a pointless one though. Obviously if 3 out of 4 games are clean sheets it’s very likely he had more clean sheets than goals conceded.
  7. Leeds struggle to break down teams that put men behind the ball. we set up how we did against Liverpool and Fulham and we will have a lot of joy on the break. Also the pass in behind will be on all night. I can see Jack having a field day sliding ball through to McGinn and Barkley running from midfield and also Ollie playing off the last man. Hopefully Barkley will be fit.
  8. Just watched it. Love how they all celebrated together!
  9. We’ve got pretty much one game a week until the rest of the season. Especially if we get knocked out of the Fa cup. Players shouldn’t need to be rested.
  10. A point and we go top. Then he must get it. Otherwise will probably be Ancelloti
  11. But sometimes your assists stats are only as good as the players on the end of them. For example Ozil had the most assists in Europe when playing for Real Madrid because he had Ronaldo on the end of his passes. Last season Jack was second in the league for chances created. He is heading in the right direction for eventual world class status.
  12. Nearly every single player you mentioned there are bottom 6 premier league/top half championship players in my opinion. Our current 11 is a potential top 6 challenging team. Each time you take a player out the current 11 and add one of those you mentioned our level slowly drops down the table. The only exception is probably Traoré and maybe Heaton .
  13. 100% this. It’s a crazy paranoia i’ve seen from fans. The media love what sells. A wide open league is fantastic for them. Why on earth would they want the same old top 6 every season? Unless I’m missing something.
  14. Maybe a little early but I followed you so I can see when you start replying
  15. I don’t think predicting a 2-0 home with for Leicester is disrespectful at all. As for the 5-1. Who the **** is Rema?
  16. Tbf if Vardy played it might have been a different game. I wouldn’t call predicting a 2-0 home with by Leicester disrespectful at all. As for the 5-1. Who the **** is Rema?
  17. We seem to be one of only a few teams that seem to be able to defend so far this season.
  18. Even thought they had a lot of injuries this is a top 6 squad we just beat today away from home. We shouldn’t underestimate how good this performance and victory was.
  19. He was good today but not to his expectational high standards he has set himself. Considering he has flew hallway around the world and played two 90 minute games he did a good job.
  20. He makes potentially difficult saves look easy. That deflected shot could have caught him out.
  21. Always been good going forward, look better defensively each good. Good on him.
  22. A point takes us top of the league.
  23. Mcginn, Luiz, Barkley and Grealish is such a good midfield. Then you throw in Trez’s hard work and tenacity, Watkins superb leading of the line, a solid back 4 that look so comfortable together and a keeper that currently looks the best in the league. I love this team!
  24. He is becoming the special manager I thought he could become at the start of last season. But I wasn’t being realistic or fair. Every manager needs time to build a team and also needs quality players. He is now starting to show what happens when he has that. Long may it continue.
  25. He was class today apart from the final third where he’s decision making wasn’t the best. What a player though. The way he turned players today reminded me of Figo. Plus that backheel to target was magic.
