    Even if we were in for Benrahma I think he would move to West Ham. Could see them offering higher wages and also you have the London factor.

    Again I might be wrong but my understand was they can offer 35m at the time and also discuss terms with the player. If he agreed to join Barcelona instead we would get whatever fee was agreed and the buy back would no longer be in place. But I’m probably totally wrong on this. edit: just read back and I’m almost certainly wrong. Doesn’t sound right at all.

    I always thought the clause meant the club has to accept a 35m bid from Man City. After that point it would be up to Luiz to discuss terms and agree to the move. Is that not the case?

    How is 80 minutes on Thursday not getting a look in? He even looked like he was playing with a knock. Yes it’s great to see Jack playing for England and we got to do that the other day. He maybe should have featured today but the fact he didn’t is good for Villa and for Jack if he is really is carrying a knock.

    I don’t think it will because with 3 games in a Week he needs to rotate the team. He will get questioned for the bizarre tactics and such a defensive selection though.

    If Jack starts today it would be because he is carrying a knock and Southgate Is trying to make it worse. If he doesn’t start it’s because Southgate is a clueless word removed.

    It’s ridiculous but I guess the game on Thursday was to give fringe players a chance and the next two games will be closer to what he feels is his current strongest team based on availability.

    You know this is a good thing for Villa. Although I hope this doesn’t mean he starts against Denmark. It’s ridiculous they are playing 3 game’s in a week. Edit: heard there could be 9 changes so he is using the squad well and giving everyone a chance.

    Call it 433 or 4321 the fact of the matter is we have better players than last season. Even the ones that played last season have a years Premier League experience and are better than they were. That is why we’ll have a good season.
