I would love the beast back on loan. I'm not that optimistic though. I think it would be a firm fan favourite though. After a disappointing window so far, Benteke back on loan would bring some optimism.

Booing is pointless. I do, however, love the idea of going against the grain and get the whole of Villa Park singing something like "Remi Garde's Claret and Blue army" or simply chanting "Villa!" The deadweight won't care that we booed. The people who have tried to keep us up will take note of us singing our hearts out. Might even inspire one or two to stay on.

G - We narrowly avoid relegation this season and finish 17th on goal difference. It then turns out that our 'business' ran club is now self-sufficient and doesn't need money from Randolph. We use this money to buy a couple of players and finish 9th under Garde in 16/17. The following season we finish 3rd and are fully profit making. Tom Fox gets hailed as a financial and contractual genius, Reg Hollis still doesn't know where he is and Lerner starts coming to games again. Called it.

Can we win 9 games and stay up? Unlikely but perfectly possible. Can we stay up on 34 points? Unlikely but perfectly possible. Will my 10 game acca come in? Unlikely but perfectly possible. What I'm trying to say is it's not over until it's over but it's probably over. Don't give up believing until it's definitely over. Over.

Was OK for a couple of games but for the most part completely absent and made us feel like we were playing with 10 men. I don't think he's been our worst ever player by a long shot, but we would do good to get him off the books and get some cash for him. He's been that crap, I don't think we have to worry about selling him to Swansea. Having said that, he'll now go on to be their top goal scorer this season.

2 mill according to the mirror and its close to being done. Bye Scott He hasn't really hit it off here despite being given opportunity. I expect he gets paid a pretty penny too, so I'm all for getting what we can for him.

Take a leaf from the book of Wenger for me on this and play a mostly young squad. I'd really like to see some little knows get a run out along with some of the old crowd. We need to concentrate on the PL in my eyes so keep the bulk of the squad for that. Start Sinclair, Richards, Richardson alongside people like Lyden and maybe Kinsella. Mix things up a little. A few might surprise us and give Remi something to think about. It's only the cup......

I saw this. I thought the question was fully loaded to try and make more headlines about our plight. 'Despite new chairman, Tim Sherwood says complicated transfer procedures are the reason Villa have signed NO ONE in January.' Thought Tim handled the whole gig really well.

We could actually get momentum here if we beat Wycombe on Tuesday. 4 games on the run that we won't have lost if we do that. Take that to Brom and who knows what might happen.
