We've moved on from Sherwood rolling the dice to Garde playing poker. All in on this hand. Must win.

Arsenal links could have legs what with Wenger's love for his padawan, Garde, and the other club links. On top of that I expect Remi to have a bit of suave with French players. More than any Sherwood facial could achieve.

I hope we focus on a new striker and left back. A new goalkeeper would also be a bonus to challenge Goose and our RB of choice isn't that good at defending so another one of those would be nice. Loic would go a long way to making me smile.

The last three seasons from this point onwards we got 18, 19 and 23 points. We don't need Champion's league form at all, we just need to do slightly better than we did when we came 17th, 15th and 15th. Difficult, but far from impossible with the right investment in January.

I have good memories of Gabby. I think he is done in this league and has struggled the last few seasons. That being said, is he worth hanging on to if the worst happens to us? Could use that pace in the Championship.

I think we'll see more of him tomorrow or next Saturday. Difficult to keep the same starting lineup with how close together these fixtures are. Need squad rotation a bit to avoid injuries which could mean a start for Adama and others.

This thread is magical. The man has been here just under 2 months and managed 7 games. He took over a squad that had been playing a different formation with different players each week and whose confidence was subterranean. He's just got the first back to back points all season and because it's not what we needed it's on him? For me, we got a little bit of what we needed today and that's some confidence back. They're getting used to a formation and a squad with little or no variation to the last match and are slowly building confidence. I would have loved a 60 minute super sub to come on, but in my opinion that's a Tim Shitewood way of thinking. Take a defender off, throw another attacker on, go 2 down and throw away any confidence and belief that may be there. You can put the finest manager in the world here, but if the players don't have the skill, belief or confidence then we won't be moving anywhere. I'm not saying we'll get out of this mess, but to blame it on Remi Garde is just absurd.

Defensive mid and a striker proven at this level. Those are my priorities after today. A draw. One of those woolly results that means we're probably down, but a performance that says with a few alterations we could kick on in a run. Ah well, onwards to Monday.
