It's too bad they don't have another match against City before the season is done. Would be some statement to just walk off after kick-off in protest that they've received a penalty but City haven't

Apparently, Fenerbahce fielded their U19 team, and the protest was because they asked for this Final to be postponed due to their upcoming midweek European tie. As you can imagine, the request was denied.

I would say that not screaming at the ref and respecting his decision, whether right or wrong, shows a high level of respect and is how things should be. Being respectful may not get us any extra points, but I'd rather that than a team of Bruno Fernandeses. I bet any analysis on BBC, Sky, MOTD, etc hasn't even mentioned the incident, which is a bigger issue.

An observation, not an excuse, but the ref today was absolutely shocking. Terrible control of the match and no awareness whatsoever.
