  1. Unfortunately we've let it slip too far realistically, what we need to do though is get into great form and take that momentum into the playoffs.
  2. My housemate is a die hard Sunderland fan, it was like watching two men with no teeth in a steak eating contest.
  3. One is a defensive-midfielder, one is a center-midfielder. Jedinak is superior in; Defensive Position, Intercepting, Heading, Holding the ball up and tackling. Bjarny is superior in; carrying the ball through midfield, forward passing, and shooting. My point being, you cannot compare them to one another...it completely depends on the opposition's game-plan as to which is more effective. Tonight for example, QPR will be playing a lot of balls in the air, so having Jedinak heading the ball right back into their half will be more effective. (in my opinion)
  4. i literally couldn't give two shites about Carlos Gil right now
  5. I was unfortunate enough to go to the QPR vs Sunderland on saturday, QPR are terrible.
  6. Just checked and you're totally right (serves me right for not checking), maybe the stat is that he's played 6 of his former teams this season, and scored against each one. Regardless, what an astute signing this is beginning to look like.
  7. Start him on the bench tonight, ease him in. Need to manage our key players very carefully this run in, it will make the difference.
  8. i heard if he scores tonight, then he would of scored against all 6 of his previous teams this season alone.
  9. Really interesting, and i do agree with your predictions place/standing wise come the season end. However, does your system factor in playing home/away? I think that factor plays a crucial part.
  10. Fair enough Dave, it is incredibly frustrating as on paper he is the footballer we are crying out for in this injury crisis.
  11. Did you see the interview Ross gave right before he left Oz, did not seem happy at all to be returning to England. There is a reason the Fulham players asked the board NOT to sign him when they were linked with re-signing him, the man is toxic.
  12. For the love of God, get that man in the starting XI. Hogan is a great player if you slot him into a creative attacking line-up, which we currently do not have due to injuries. There is a reason Grabban scored a shitetonne for Sunderland, put him in the team and give that man minutes.
  13. I'm pretty sure he was injured the week before, he didn't feature for the U23's. I would like to see more of him though, looks a real talent.
  14. Need him back in the team right now, we can't play any meaningful attacking football without him. Worringly toothless.
  15. lansbury in for grealish, whilst pushing hourhaine into jacks position. Easy peasy right?
  16. sitting in the away end, buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing! Get Thor back into that midfield, need his energy and hustle. We're gonna win this, win the league, and England will win the world cup.
  17. I went back through my old posts and found this from the 23rd December, how feelings and thoughts can change over a relatively short space of time. Also, it serves as a reminder of how truly bad we were/can-be, and how important it is to maintain the current form and way of playing.
  18. Sounds like he will be needed for Saturday, let's hope he's match ready.
  19. He completely destroyed N'doye with that stare, what a beautifully terrifying man. Him and Chester are the perfect CB pairing, they never ever lose the ball when it's at their feet. Sublime.
  20. My eyes watered whilst he cried after the first goal, so so so chuffed the lads brought it home for him today. That one was for your Steve, bask in this moment as it belongs completely to you.
  21. Remember when the blue noses thought he was gonna sign for them?
  22. We need to stop Jota, a nice Alan Hutton thunderblaster of a tackle in the 3rd minute please.
