  1. King Kodj was blowing towards the end of that second half, I personally wouldn't start him and would use him as a weapon off the bench. Against tiring defenders his agility and power on the ball is deadly...he completely annihilated that left side of their defence.
  2. The EFL brought in a rule to stop teams from resting too many players I believe; “For any league match played on or after the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the league match before.” The EFL added: “In the event any club breaches the threshold, they may be charged with a breach of Regulation 24 and the matter will be referred to a disciplinary commission.”
  3. Got criticised for his crossing last week, but my word what a cross for mcguinn. The boy had to slide to the byline and hook his foot round it, magnificent.
  4. Bruce tried to move him on in the summer and told him on the last day of the window he was moving him on for being "too old". Hence the old man celebration. Loved the fact the two key moments of the game were Adomah and Steer who were both poorly treated by Bruce.
  5. You tend to find wingers at a young age gave poor decision making, even Sterling for example has been agressively coached by the best manager in the world for 2+ years before finally starting to show some consistency. It's a very difficult position to play. Green obviously has the talent and ability, we have seen flashes of it during his time around the senior team and Dean clearly see's that too. We on this froum are too quick to write off players, I remember when posters here wrote off Tuanzabe after a handful of appearances at RB..and look how that is turning out now. Reserve your judgment, and give the young boy some time to understand the game and grow as a player...wouldn't it be class if he becomes a quality player?
  6. He's not consistently good in possesion, but what he does have is the ability to do something special and open the game up...he was a constant menace today, and his finish was a joy to behold. Most impressed with his change of on-field attitude, whenever he loses the balls he busts a gut to make a challenge. He's enjoying his time under Dean Smith and progressing finely, sign him up.
  7. Since the return of Jack, this is some of, if not the best football I've seen us play in the last decade. I watched the Leeds vs Blades game, and on this run of form I'd happily back us to turn them over.
  8. That was fookin briliant that was. Who's gonna edit the Hutton goal to the titanic theme music?
  9. Sounds like Wilder knows Brexit means Brexit.
  10. This I think we can both definitely agree upon.
  11. I quoted you regarding the "Jedinak being the better option for now", I was highlighting his positioning for the second goal to support why that isn't the case.
  12. I really do think that is the very last time we should see the Jedinak experiment.
  13. Our best performing players this season according to WhoScored, puts Jack 0.07 (avg. per game) behind our active top performing player. https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/24/Show/England-Aston-Villa
  14. Isn't speculating exactly what we are all doing in this thread? We don't personally know either the manger or the player and don't know any of the conversations/actions that have taken place since RM pretended his gates didn't work.
  15. Blaming Bruce for McCormack being a colossal and un-interested turd is beyond ludicrous. For the record I want Bruce to go ASAP, but McCormack is now beyond useless as a footballer....you can't help those that don't want to be helped. Are we just going to pretend he wasn't complete gash during his loan to Nottingham Forest?
  16. When we offered him back to Fulham, their players told basically begged the board not to sign him. That should tell you all you need to know, some problems can't be fixed.
  17. Here is the opinion of England international Luke Shaw; "I think Axel is unbelievable," Shaw told MUTV. "I think the talent he's got is frightening. He's strong, he's quick, he's energetic, he reads the game well, he's a good passer of the ball, and he's got everything. "For me, his main position is probably central defender. I think if he nails down one place, it will be central defender. But like I said, he's got everything and he's still very young. https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/man-utd//shaw-hails-unbelievable-tuanzebe_316574.html
  18. So what you're saying is that if is broke don't fix it? I do agree the whole situation is a farce though, but actions must be made and solutions must be tried.
  19. Are you counting the games in pre-season and for reserves? and many many years in one of the most competitive academies in the world. And yes i do think there would be a noticeable improvement, positioning knowledge is specific to particular positions. Look at Jedinak being a prime example of that or centre-backs when played at DM. Also, don't underestimate the difficulty in playing out-of-position in a massively under-performing defence that is lacking organisation. Just out of interest, who do you think should be the CB pairing?
  20. Same people said that when we originally signed him, then proceeded to romantically gush about him for the remainder of the season. Short memories and fickle opinions ect ect.
  21. Big rumors that Bruce has lost the dressing room, bringing in JT would certainly fix that problem.
  22. Not completely blind though as he has played that potion for the senior, and youth teams for the biggest club in the country, and has been rewarded with multiple contracts. I know he's been shit at RB and I hear your points, but you're coming across a tiny bit prejudicial. Give the lad a chance before writing him off in his actual position.
  23. * at right-back, and is untested at CB in the senior team in the league.
