They'll have to raise direct taxation to do much of this. I know it's been out of the equation since The Wicked Witch, but to rebalance society and reinvest in public services, he'll need to tax the comparatively wealthy a bit more. Direct, progressive taxation. I'd vote for him on that basis, but that might scare off a lot of self interested 'middle England'. But it needs doing.

I loved echo. Really well done. Well acted. Good production values. My main gripe is that it's every short. 5 x 30 minute episodes. Could have been a film at that length. But I enjoyed it. Kept me gripped and wasn't silly like some recent marvel stuff. Quite dark.

Going to numerous shops, at your own time and expense, to not find what you want, after wasting time queueing and parking, when amazon has it right there online, quickly and cheaply, a couple of clicks away, seems crazy in comparison

High Street stores simply cannot match the range and value you can get online with regards to clothing. The main drawback being you can't try it on first/ view it IRL. But I've done very few returns recently. The size and fit are generally pretty consistent. I do pretty much all online clothes shopping online for the above reason. I can't find anything close to what I'd want in a store anywhere near me

Poetry is important Tone Loc. 'Art' is important. Social commentary is important. He was big in all of these areas. TBH I didn't the know he was a villa fan when I heard his passing today. Just gutted that he'd gone. I know him mostly through things like the beeb. He's had occasional coverage on 6 music which is maybe where I know him from best. Big loss IMO.
