  1. Some clearly have their agenda. Luiz has given the ball away from poor passes/touches today, but I haven't seen a single post slating him for it.
  2. "BuEnDiA jUsT gIvEs ThE bAlL aWaY...." lol... Singlehandedly takes 4 Leicester defenders out of the play with his control.
  3. Wow... Worst refereeing performance I've seen in a long time, and this comes after that atrocious Palace game.
  4. Tim Howard sounds baffled here on NBC and says it should have been given.
  5. FOOK OFF... Sick of these terrible referees. Terrible decision.
  6. JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You beautiful boy!!!!! GET IN THERE!!!!
  7. Lazy, too much dwelling on the ball, poor first touches, and passing straight to Leicester players. Some of the worst football we've played in years this half. I'm shocked we haven't let in 3-4 so far.
  8. It's a huge reason why they've fallen off so far recently. ManUre are so desperate to start winning things again, they're throwing ex-player after ex-player into any open position, hoping that they'll somehow rub off some magical Fergie dust on the organization. Also a cautionary tale for anyone wanting Villa to surround ourselves with ex-players who were "winners" but haven't done fook all since (not a swipe at Gerrard).
  9. Oh... Norwich should be level there... Pukki's finishing is atrocious.
  10. Memphis destroying OKC by 73 points... Setting a record for the largest margin of victory in NBA history. I feel bad for the OKC fans... Their organization doesn't care at all about the basketball being played by their team at the moment. They just want to keep tanking as hard as possible over the next few years and hording high draft picks. They sat all their starters and played nothing but G-Leaguers after the trade deadline last season and they're playing just as poorly with their best players this season. OKC fans don't want to watch this garbage.
  11. In what world do you see the Lions winning 3-5 games to close out the season?
  12. Forgot all about him... He used to be pretty despised by American footy fans for declaring for Italy because he "wanted to win a World Cup", even though he's from New Jersey. He could have been Pulisic-like with regards to the amount of endorsements/exposure to the sport he would have brought to the USA. Now, he's just another forgotten injury-plagued former footballer few people remember, who never even made the Italy squad for a single World Cup.
  13. This. Definitely wouldn't be coming on as a sub the following week either.
  14. Also look at how long it took Grealish to find his footing in the first team. He broke into the first team at 19/20 when we were on our downward spiral in the Premier League and looked lightweight, lost, and way off pace a lot of the time (the Liverpool semifinal was the exception). He really didn't establish himself as a first team regular until our first season in the Championship at 21, and even then didn't start to light up the league until he was 22/23. Writing off Carney/Ramsey/any of our other youngsters right now is incredibly stupid. The leap from U23 football to the Premier League is massive and will take time for nearly everyone to adapt.
  15. Why would it be? He has a year and a half left on his current contract? The media stories sound like his agent trying to drum up interest to get him a bigger extension at Villa.
  16. City are so good that you have to play perfectly and have a little luck on your side in order to beat them. That said, we played well today. Good performances all around from the team, but Buendia, Dougie, Mings, and Young were the standouts. Buendia is my MOTM. I hope Targett & Bailey are alright. Bailey just can't catch a break with these muscle pulls.
  17. I mean... We put 10 men behind the ball, hoofed it forward when we had possession, and hoped Ollie would make something happen on the break. We were lucky Palace were so poor and didn't look dangerous until the last 12 minutes of the game. I'm happy we won, and we were the much better side in the first half, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
  18. Was pretty critical of him re-signing for us this summer and after some pretty lackluster peformances earlier on this season, but he was excellent today. He's another leader on the pitch.
  19. Thought he played well today. Get the feeling that once he fully gets up to the speed of the Prem, he'll be a real handful for defenders.
  20. Brilliant pass into El Ghazi for the 2nd goal. Also, fair play to AEG as well for not blasting the ball into row Z, but passing to McGinn instead.
  21. Glad we won! You could see glimpses of how Gerrard wants us to play in the first half, and we looked much better defensively in transition and going forward, with our narrow wide forwards. That said, the second half was basically Bruceball for 45 minutes and shows there is still much work to be done. Very happy with how things have started for Gerrard, though. Long may it continue! UTV!!!
