I would have to go for Palace West Ham and Cardiff as things stand but I change my mind all the time. It really is such a close call between so many clubs. I think we have enough in us with more performances like yesterday.

Very pleased with the performance. In all honesty they scored with there only chance in the first half and it took a dive from Suarez for the equaliser. It is hard to critiscise the ref for the pen though as he was clearly conned and my first thought was penalty as well.

Ex pros are deeming it clever play now, can't wait to see lineker and shearer when Suarez does it against England. That's a great point and I'm sure they will change there tune then

The referee gets one chance so you can not blame him and I have to admit I thought penalty at first but having seen replays I am certain he dives.

Lost there best striker in my opinion but not a bad fee considering he was nearing end of his contract.

This lad certainly looks to have a good future, definitely a good idea to see out the season at Notts County and then come back stronger with valuable first team experience under his belt. -
Gary Gardner is a strange one. He was so highly rated but Lambert seems reluctant to give him a chance. I know he has not long returned from injury but surely he needs games now, if it's not here then maybe a month's loan elsewhere would be beneficial to everyone. Personally I would give him a chance just to try and give the midfield a different option.

The problem is when we spend big the player has to be a success, when if you compare to the likes Man City and Man Uniteds of this world they can flop. All managers will get it wrong at times.

I have to admit I just dont know where to stand on Lerner. I understand the cutbacks but did they need to be so drastic that we cant compete with the lesser clubs in the transfer market? I'm sure it has already been said numerous times but Lerner really needs to let the fans know what the plans are for OUR club.

It is only a loan signing and he did well under Lambert at Norwich. If he comes in, does a job and works hard for our club I have no problem with this short term move.

The defeat at the sty and then the follow up at home. Truly depressing as it just had never seemed possible.

He looked like a big weight had been lifted from his shoulders when he scored. Such a shame he didn't equalise at the end with that chance.

Put a great ball in for Benteke's goal but has to do better defensively.

A lot better in the second half. There was at glimpses of fight within our side. Its such a pity it took us to be 2 down and a whole half of just admiring Arsenal before we had a go.

Ok, second try at this. I am obviously not gary shaw, my name is Steve and I am a life long fan born and raised in our fine city of Birmingham.
