  1. Similar type of player to Buendia and Coutinho. A move here wouldn’t make sense.
  2. It makes very little sense to have squad fillers or backup players, if you can’t trust them to perform on the pitch it’s pointless paying their wages, hence why we’ve shifted our deadwood.
  3. He’s been out for 3 games with a hamstring injury, I can’t say I remember his stint at Newcastle. Does anyone here remember if he did well or not? His stats suggest otherwise. I’ve watched Real Sociedad a few times this season whilst he’s and important player for them I have some doubts about him as a premier player.
  4. And that’s the way it should be, hopefully we adopt a sensible approach to squad building under Emery.
  5. How much is his release clause?
  6. O no another one out the door, we must sign a replacement now panic time!!!! Can’t believe the owners have pulled the plug. There you go @messi11 I saved you the hassle
  7. You only have to look at players leaving clubs competing in the champions league and europa to fight relegation with the likes of Leeds and Bournemouth in the premier league. They simply can’t compete financially.
  8. That’s definitely the case, the jobs near impossible they’ve only averaged 0.75 points per match this season so they need to win matches drawing alone won’t get them out of this mess. Dyche is the best man for the job if they go down they’ll go down fighting and might carry some feel good momentum to bounce back up . The football won’t be enjoyable but with limited funds and a poor recruitment team it’s the best they can hope for.
  9. You could pick one of the “poorest” Premier league team and they would probably have a higher net spend than the entire Italian division.
  10. Doug broke John Gregory he really wanted to burst that “big 4” bubble given the funds to sign who he wanted he would have done it.
  11. the likes of Bournemouth are out muscling Milan , the stands in serie A are empty these days
  12. The Evertonians don’t seem happy with the appointment . Madness
  13. Give it a few months and you’ll soon turn on him .
  14. True not a big serie a fan personally but enjoy La liga and will opt for a la liga match over a premier league match featuring a Bournemouth or Leeds ect it’s quite sad to see the standard of the European leagues drop big historical teams losing players to relegation fodder in the prem.
  15. Reading the comments of the furious Milan fans is funny, “this is why we want a super league” and so on. Little do they remember the super league and financial power they had going on during the 90’s
  16. Yes it’s getting tiresome the way some go on and on about him and Buendia, Emery clearly sees something in him or he wouldn’t have persevered with him.
  17. Blows the candles out with a fire extinguisher, just in case.
  18. Howe and his teams playing attacking football is a myth.
  19. 10m signing to replace Guendouzi , don’t need to be a french speaker to work that one out
  20. Dyche is the best man for the job , he might not keep them up but I think he would get them out of the championship, whilst the club is in financial trouble I don’t think there’s a better man for the job. They should have hired him months ago. With limited time left in the transfer window who does he bring in?
