Don’t get why people are worried about “doing it in a poorer league “ should we just sign talent from premier league only? Dembele has a decent record in European competitions , 8 goals in 25 that would suggest he’s more than capable of reach in double figures in the premier league.

It’s not sustainable. We can spend on players that improve the team significantly but not many viable targets are available , would you have preferred Bissouma for £20m or Kamara on a free? I’m glad we didn’t waste to much under Gerrard.

Don’t think Bailey has taken a pen for us, I think Bailey has the ability to hit a ball but composure/mindset might let him down on penalties , I’ve never been convinced with Ollie taking them, I’d say JJ is the best finisher at the club but don’t think he’s the type to take the responsibility or his teammates might not let him, so out of the starting 11 maybe Douglas Luiz?
